The special thing about this tournament is that it is the final qualifier. Basically, your last chance to win money and qualify for the Grand Finals in April. There is a last chance tournament in April, however there is no prize pool for that tournament and it is the day before the Grand Finals.
Originally, this tournament was scheduled for March 12th, but as not to interfere with PAX East, it was moved 1 week back.
I dunno, we TheWreckerEP might show up to this one and we got a few new people popping up. Gonna be some good competition and man o man did you have a good showing last time.

Why thank you. No videos up yet?
Oh, and did anyone get replays? I totally forgot to get any before I left the last tournament.
Lunchbx is going to grab the replays and Force actually started loading everything up. I'm transferring a bunch of stuff to him now. Here they are! Bitters v DamnCats - g1 - g3
I'm not positive if I can make it or not. It mostly depends on where Haverhill is. I've never heard of it. I'm right outside of Boston, so if no one can tell me some of the nearby towns, can someone give me an estimate of how long it'd take to get there?

Haverhill is right on 495 in Mass. It's north of Lawrence/Methuen MA and south of Plaistow NH. It's also the last stop on the train from North Station.
The bad news is that the LAN center where this event was supposed to take place, will NOT have computers up and running in time to host the event. And since I won't push for a BYOC in a qualifier, we have to move the event.
The good news is that Galaxy Gaming in Dover, NH has agreed to host the tournament, although we do have to have it at an earlier time. The new time is Doors @ 9A and HARD START @ 10A. That means if you aren't there by 10, you won't be able to play.
Everyone who has entered this event, please contact me and confirm/deny that you will be attending at the new venue. I will be trying to get an event at one of the Boston colleges next season to help get our college friends involved.
Remember, The time and location have changed for this tournament. Make sure to check the OP for the current stats. Just under 2 weeks away and I need your confirms so I know you don't show up to the wrong place 3 hours late.

:-( Well, luckily we will be in CT next season in August. We're also looking to have one tourney closer to Boston at a University. Most likely Tufts due to the amount of actual employees for them we have in the league.
Man, 2 hour drive to 3 hour drive, any word on when the CT lan is :/? I was really hoping I could make it to the qualifier, everything is so far up north...
There are still about 10 spots open for this tournament. Remember, it has moved to Galaxy Gaming in Dover, NH at 10am SHARP. We have to cut off the entry after that due to the LAN center having something else scheduled. I hope to see more of you guys there , especially you guys I met at PAX.
Hey guys. I've been hoping for a tournament in New England to get my feet wet in some competition other than the ladder. Two questions:
Is it too late to register/are there still slots open?
What's the skill range here? It's about a 2 hour drive, so I don't think I'll come out if I'm just going to get stomped. I'm 2800 diamond, moving up bit by bit. So is it mostly master's league folks or what? I know league doesn't necessarily equate with skill, but it's the handiest metric we have.
Would be awesome if I could come play. Let me know! =)

I'm at work, so sorry if this took too long to get back to you.
But no, it is not too late to register and there are still slots open. As far as skill goes, most of the people in now are somewhere around 22 master/diamond. The way I set everything up is so more people have a chance of winning $$ during the season. Since this is the last qualifier, it's the last chance for prizes until the grand finals, which is the top players from all the tournaments plus a few extra from the day before. So, based on that it looks like you could do fairly well.
The league isn't just high level guys either, we have a bunch of bronze->plat that are in it too. It's more like a community, that just happens to throw tournaments XD
It was a fantastic tournament with a really great showing of talent. Sadly, my computer crashed several times while both myself and Force were streaming. Looks like it is time to upgrade my cooling capabilities via. a new case and fans. Upgrade my tower fund anyone? XD
