We're also looking to have one tourney closer to Boston at a University. Most likely Tufts due to the amount of actual employees for them we have in the league.

Is it too late to register/are there still slots open? What's the skill range here? It's about a 2 hour drive, so I don't think I'll come out if I'm just going to get stomped. I'm 2800 diamond, moving up bit by bit. So is it mostly master's league folks or what? I know league doesn't necessarily equate with skill, but it's the handiest metric we have. Would be awesome if I could come play. Let me know! =)

Two questions: Is it too late to register/are there still slots open? What's the skill range here? It's about a 2 hour drive, so I don't think I'll come out if I'm just going to get stomped. I'm 2800 diamond, moving up bit by bit. So is it mostly master's league folks or what? I know league doesn't necessarily equate with skill, but it's the handiest metric we have. Would be awesome if I could come play. Let me know! =) I'm at work, so sorry if this took too long to get back to you. But no, it is not too late to register and there are still slots open. As far as skill goes, most of the people in now are somewhere around 22 master/diamond. The way I set everything up is so more people have a chance of winning $$ during the season. Since this is the last qualifier, it's the last chance for prizes until the grand finals, which is the top players from all the tournaments plus a few extra from the day before. So, based on that it looks like you could do fairly well. The league isn't just high level guys either, we have a bunch of bronze->plat that are in it too. It's more like a community, that just happens to throw tournaments XD

Luckily, Force had brought his PC and got the whole tournament on his stream. You can check out the very beginning right here: http://www.justin.tv/forcestrategygaming/b/281884085 Stay tuned for a replay pack in a few days as well as a new post regarding the Last Chance qualifier and the Grand Final tournament: a 2 Day event!
