Definitely the best 5 dollars ever spent. I agree with you. After watching all of the previous seasons of GSL this was definitely my favorite experience and I would even say my favorite sc2 tournament yet. I cannot wait for the next one!

First, absolutely amazing! Everything came together just right, intense matchup, some epic games, Artosis nerdgasming towards the end of the series. GOM has done a great job so far with SC2, big thanks to them. Secondly, I noticed something interesting about final game. If you watch NesTea's final counterattack, the observer keeps protoss in focus and you can see his minerals peak at 800+ as nestea arrives at his expansion. Made me think an extra gateway or two would have probably held off NesTea's attack right there. Finally, why are people allowed to ask for illegally posted VOD's on these forums? Mods ban people for caps but not for requesting links to illegally posted content? It really upsets me that piracy is looked down upon on TL.

The GSTL has totally switched my thoughts around, i love the team setup watching some these new players in a 1on1 setup with only 1 game to defeat your opponent is just spectacular. I cant wait for more especially when we start seeing more teams like the reporter said in the interview they had its goin to be great. It's more spontaneous, too. Having a week to prepare for your exact opponent, knowing your exact matchup and the exact maps you're going to play leads to a lot of quirky build orders designed specifically for that opponent and ultimately, in my opinion, shorter games. Being thrown into the booth against any player or any race leads to players just trying to play to their strengths. Cheesier players will cheese, players who are confident in their macro will macro and generally play safe as to not hurt their team's chances. I never did watch a lot of pro BW so maybe I'm wrong. But even games on Blizzard maps over time would be of higher quality in team format than tourney format, I think.

But even games on Blizzard maps over time would be of higher quality in team format than tourney format, I think. I personally enjoyed the player interaction and human aspect of the Team League. The celebrations, the dancing, the "bad manner"...it all provided for a very enjoyable experience both in and out of the game. From a game play point of view, many of the final's games were fun to watch, but really only the last 3 or 4 games around the time of the "dance-off" did the competitive and rivalry aspect of SC2 really show. It wasn't just two groups of people playing, it was two highly competitive groups. So many mule drops @_@.

Or maybe a mini-tournament between the top 4 players not in Code A/S for 1-2 spots into Code A. Or just allow the winning team an autoplacement in Code A. IE they get to put one of their team in code A as a prize for winning.

What else are you going to pay for in the 4 months or whatever until GSTL2? I will say that I get more entertainment for $5-10/mo on gomtv.net than I get from my WoW subscription, that's for sure.

Haha hell yes. WoW is only worth it if you really like MMOs and/or play it a LOT to make the $20 worth it. I wanna watch these tbh, but I don't have a credit card or paypal or whatever so idk how to pay haha. May be I will have to ask my parents ![]() And tbh again I think that is the problem for a lot of people when something requires a fee. Not that the fee is high, but they are too lazy to pay and/or don't have a convenient way too. So like, charging you 1$ per day9 video you watch or such sounds like a great idea and is quite cheap, but it probably won't be worth it money-wise nor support-wise because it can be hard for younger people to find a way to get that 1$.

One of my favorite parts though, was just getting to see protoss finally flourish. For so long it felt like all protoss did (or could do?) was tech up to the deathball. But man, the GSTL had so many different tech paths and build orders that got used. Protoss actually feels dynamic now.

I've been harping on the glimpes of SC2 spectating greatness for months, and it is now fully blossoming in the GSTL and the new map pool. HALLELUJAH! Now maybe buff zerglings or something and we're perfect. Poll: How much would you pay for another one of these? I'd go $10 easily! (33) $5 was fine, but no more (24) I refuse to pay money for awesome entertainment (11) $20 would be fair for that awesomeness (4) 72 total votes Your vote: How much would you pay for another one of these? Had he gone more bio (which he didnt because he didnt notice his uppgrades were behind untill it was to late to go it) things wouldve looked differently. But man was that a great series in all. Still having nerdasms thinking about all the dancing and shit. <3
