Thank you GSL for making these new maps. I really love how close it is to a BW match especially the match between Squirtle vs MVP. Those stalker+zealot+mother ship charging into a terran defense look exactly like Zealo+Dragon+Arbiter in BW. Recommend to all who missed. 5$ is totally worth it just for the final alone. | ||

But this? Oh god. I would pay $15 for more matches like these, they were that great. My first ticket purchase, and if they keep up the maps and games, it certainly won't be my last. This is just what I was really waiting for in Starcraft 2, the first time I saw matches that made me as excited as those old Brood War legendary matches. When will we get SC2 team insignias we can put up? | ||

Maybe this format should have a few more days devoted to it and a larger prize pool!! Also a suggestion is that instead of knockouts we have some sort of group stage at the start. For e.g. place the teams ranked 1,3,5,7 in same group and 2,4,6 and 8 in another. Then Face them off in regular GSL code S format day 1: Group A 1vs 3 and 5 vs 7 day 2: Group B 2 vs 6 and 4 vs 8 day 3: Group A winner match 1 vs loser match 2 and vice versa day 4: Group B same as group A day 5: Tie breakers (if needed) day 6: 3/4 place match day 7: Finals This sort of gives a 1-2 day rest before the finals giving a chance for the teams to practice for the other before finals. The Group stage also gives the team a chance to make a come back after losing their first game. If people feel strongly about it the 3/4 place game can be replaced with semi finals and another days break. | ||

In the coach interview, it was said that Rainbow wanted to play, but they will give the chances to their team, so that they can get good stage experience. IMO, Rainbow's play looks quite standard in recent tournaments, but to have such talent in StarTale, he must have definitely improved much too. | ||
