![]() Glad you guys liked clouds commentating, I really did as well, if Ben went out earlyer I would have asked him to commentate but since he was still In he didnt wanna do it which is super reasonable obviously and after the semi final he was dissapointed so didnt feel like it either, perhaps he can do the final if hes done with his 3rd place game but I cant guarantee that, I will ask him but cant promise, if not I think Cloud is the man to go and we'll do our best to make it a great final :D | ||

Getting blue flame costs alot of time/gas, so it has to kill much more than 5 to pay off. The gas investment means you are behind in the overall tank/viking count, which can allow the other player to contain or in rare cases straight up kill you. | ||

Yea but on the other hand, BF hellions kill workers so fast its not only very effective, but also insanely stressful to fight against, deflecting normal drops is already tense, but knowing a couple units can just waltz in and destroy your econ in seconds is pretty tough, sometimes forcing enemies to pull back and allowing map control. | ||

Feels like you could afk the hellions after drop and still get more than 5 kills. Seen very very few hellion drops not pay for themselves if they dont drop on the heads of marines. And seen more than enough give 20+ kills to make it a worthwhile risk :p | ||

It's definitely doable and there isn't a need for if you have impeccable positioning and read your opponent correctly. However, should you intend to engage army vs army, investing in a handful of marauders is extremely useful. There are alternatives to actually engaging directly, but if you intend do they're 100% viable. Great casting as always, Rotterdam. | ||

Also you can upgrade faster when not building marauders, have more tanks / medivacs, and that's way more efficient than to try to brute force with marauders ; a marauder dies to 3 tank shots, a marine 2 tank shots, if you have proper control (spreading flanking etc) it's better in almost every situtation to have 2 marines instead of 1 marauder. However I totally agree that using the one barracks with tech lab to make marauders until you swap it to a factory or something can't be bad | ||
