It takes a pretty special player to make Tester look stright up bad.

You could blame it on tester's game decisions, but only because MVP was so on the ball at scouting and reacting to them - so it is credit to him anyway.

Well if you can't put units at your expo ramp to stop that obviously it is imba didn't you get the memo.

Unfortunately I am starting agree a bit. I haven't been posting for terribly long, but the snowball of derailment or people not necessarily thinking through their comments as been on the up tick as of late. Hopefully its just a minor bump.

Wow MVP, that was a nice showing. 3-0'ing Tester is no small feat. This reinforces MVP as the favorite to win the tournament.

Just think about it. Marauders have Stim and Conc shells which absolutely DESTROY Zealots and Stalkers. If terran tried to do too many marauders/hellions to all-in on you, void rays would simply destroy that army. Ok, now you have forced terran to do anti air stuff. The whole game is now different.

Terrran can't just do huge marauder balls versus you now, but can he do huge marine balls either? Guardian shield + 1 base armor from protoss armies = 1/2 dmg from marines.

Much more even playfield now. Or that's how I have figured it out.

In the first 2 games tester tech-ed way too hard, I think. The stargate never payed off in the slightest, even a robo-bay would've been better there, I think.


WhiteRa was one of the pioneers of stargate against Terran. Opting to go for relatively quick voidrays to force a lot of marines, then tech switching to chargelot/HTs to punish it.

I think it was just a show of punishing someone going for fast expand.
I like that, I don't think people should be able to get away with a blind fast expand as easily as they have most of the time in sc2 so far.

Expanding should come at a risk and that hasn't been the case enough so far imo, P and T just blindly fast expand too much.. but now more and more players seem to figure out a way to time a push and win against it. I like that.

This is why I dont like fe against T, if tester cant hold it, the hell that I will. Also like snicker at all the "experts" talking about play without colos.

Fun matches today, a little technical difficulties both with the stream and games but what is the deal with Tastosis feeling the urge to call the game too early. Several times today and it's like it's growing. They never focus on what is happening in a battle, there's 90% almost always Artosis saying he will win...... No the other guy will win..... No he will win... yeah... No the other guy.. All these exciting swings is why starcraft is fun, but it's being thrown away I think because we don't need a horoscope. Nobody will ever surpass these commentators but there are things to improve.

i definitely feel like the reason no toss are in the RO4 is more of the players failing than the race failing. Tester lost to 3 attacks he might of been able to defend or at least salvage, choya just all-in's. On the flip side MC played well but he was in the group of death with foxer and jinro.

Stop crying about terran really , tester was way too greedy and got punished because of it ( yeah thats how terran works ). He had 1 sentry in the last game and blocked his own stalker with the probes , when you are so much behind and contained ofc IMP had a super safe 3rd.

You never know. Compare GSL1 to GSL4. Foreigners are really starting to impact SC2 pro gaming over there. I don't think we will have to necessarily wait too long before we have the opportunity to see a foreigner in the finals, or ever as a champion. SC2 is definitely, at least as of now, developing as a global game rather then a Korean centralized game.

funny thing is, in game 3 it was tester who went all in with 7(8?) gates off 2 bases, and got manhandled. IMMvP is just better. tester is way overrated, going for fast expo, and losing 6 probes to 1 marauder, 1 marine and an scv, and not scouting that bunker.
also, while his probes were pwned by kiting marine+marauder, his stalker was attacking empty bunker.
seriously, i can't imagine MC losing like that.
