I think the 2v2 brings an interesting twist to the tournament. I like it. It's different from the other tourneys.

Eh, take this tourny with a grain of salt. This tourny does not seem to be so much about trying to show who is best so much as an attempt to spread e-sports.

Just because fnatic and KawaiiRice isn't part of this tournament, doesn't mean you have to trash it. I think we should be glad that sponsors and casters are willing to put on sc2 events and help spread e-sports.

I was actually referring to the complaints about 2v2. Being the hardcore tourny site TL is, 2v2s are often just played for fun or with casual friends. My point was that it was not a tourny to prove who is really the best player in the world, but to create one hell of a show for people who may not be familiar with the SC II e-sports scene.

Not only that, the prize pool will also add more hype, tension, and excitement to the matches. Especially for finals.

Maybe they're just trying to make 2v2s competitive again. There used to be professional 2v2 players, after all.

KawaiiRice is one of my favorite streams. I like the japanese music he plays. Plus, Terran is probably my most favorite race.

I think 2vs2 deserves a chance - I mean back in Beta people complained about the 2vs2 maps being too big after they kicked out the 1vs1 maps out of the 2vs2 ladder rotation, but now people are complaining about the 1vs1 maps being too small -- so maybe the 2vs2 maps are really good for 2vs2 on competitive level and there is no reason why starcraft should be played solely 1vs1 in the pro circuit (except lazyness).

I enjoy competitive 2v2 matches. I remember watching TLO and Laejten in the 2on2 Ladies Choice tournament. Some great games.

2v2 was played for YEARS at the korean proleague. Is kinda dumb say that 2x2 is casual.

I just didn't quite understand one thing. Kiwikaki, for exemple, will have to play 4 times at the same map? It really really suck, and I wonder why he didn't put shakuras at the rotation :S

everyone is playing the same map 4 times. teams decided which map they want each of their players to play on, and they play on that map against all 4 teams
"Fucking up is part of it. If you can't fail, you have to always win. And I don't think you can always win." Elliott Smith ---------- Yet no sudden rage darkened his face, and his eyes were calm as they studied her. Then he smiled. 'Witness.'

oh, ty. Well, not to bad, at least they can choose the players. The bad thing is that there are a lot of Mirror matchups!

Also, Naama talked to you at your stream, saying about playing a match, I was wondering what it was at that time, now I know, lol

Wow, I looked again and there isn't a single zerg at Lost Temple and Delta Quadrant, they are all at the first 2 maps. That really suck for the entertainment, mirrors suck so much >:
