The 2v2 part will probably be quite funny.

Strong teams and players, so I'll be looking forward to this tournament.

Nice! Some 2v2s! I would really like to see some restrictions though so the games don't result in one player pooling the other player minerals the whole time or something like that. Either way those teams are awesome and I can't wait to see them.

(A little ironic, seeing as I'm posting on TEAMLIQUID.net, but: )
I'm rooting for EG. They've always been the favorite of mine, and when IdrA joined, it just got better.

Prime is also missing MarineKing, among others. It's not a "crazy huge matchup" for Prime, and they probably won't make it out of round robin play.

Interestingly enough, IdrA decides to contribute to his team by only playing Ace matches? :/

Axslav and Strifcro make an amazing 2v2 team, I'm excited to see them play.

Should be a good tournament!

I am excited to see how the koreans match up, some people are complaining about prime's lineup but lol. July / Junwi / Polt / Lotze are all code A or better and are sick monsters T_T

Interesting, no MarineKing, who is probably their best player.

Aren't Junwi and July from IM and ST respectively?

No fnatic is strange considering their team won the last big clan thing with tt1 tearing through everyone

Polt is pretty sick. People don't give him enough credit, he's not tip of the S class, but I would say on a good day he's one of the better players, and July/Junwi, well, they're awesome by default. I dunno about Lotze, he hasn't really impressed me much.

Remove the 2v2s and I'll get interested

Don't do this.

high level 2v2's are rare to see, and seeing these teams 2v2 potential is awesome, the last thing I want to see is to have it removed because not only does it give it a unique flair but hopefully everyone can see how awesome teams like Drewbie+Catz, Strifecro+Axslav, TLO+Jinro, etc. can be at 2v2's.

fairly surprised myself, but that doesn't mean that this tournament won't still be amazing

Maybe they're just trying to make 2v2s competitive again. There used to be professional 2v2 players, after all.

I agree, anyone complaining about 2v2's being in this just hasn't really seen how good some of these 2v2 players are.

Drewbie is a former A or A+ 2v2 player in Starcraft 2 I believe, and that is NO small feat. Strifecro and Axslav were known to be one of the best 2v2 pairs in WC3.

One last question though, why is it that they're called Prime, but there are players with both the IM, Prime, and ST tags? Is this just supposed to be the random group of koreans team or something? Because it looks to be a big group of people from scattered teams.
