Those wins looked rather easy, at least the last two. In both cases Ret had invested most of his economy in hatcheries and drones and was unable to respond to the fast pressure.

thought you might have a timing window with the mutalisks during his gateway push in g2 when he was zealot heavy, just abit unfortunate he kept the pressure up so well. Also slightly unnerving to see how close the worker count was to say you were on 3 base macroing like a beast while he Fe'd....

Well he took all workers off gas to try and get enough lings/sunks to survive. So when MC got zealot count he didn't have any gas to actually get muta out. Not much of a window Close metal is just death.

If you don't mind me asking: What happens if you do go Roach in that situation? You die to Immortal/Forcefield or somethign?

shout out to all the guys "giving advice" to RET, i'm sure he knows best, you should thank him he shared his thoughts on the games he just played instead of underestimating his play

there's no lag for the HD stream on ragequit TV actually works great

Why didn't you try to build hydra den as soon as he started attacking? You could have had a lot of hydras for his last push. You were killed by FF, hydras could have helped with this (even with no range upgrade).

I'm trying to think about who would watch tournament and go like "OMG AWESOME YES!" when a cannon rush happens, but all my mind can do right now is puke until it drowns in its own vomit.

Again, he took all off gas just to survive till that point. If he had drones on gas and hydra den going he would have never stopped that first push anyway. You can't just look at a game and go "maybe should have done this" because the whole game would be changed and you would never know what MC would do. Just saying "if he got x unit for last push would have been fine" yet ignoring what would happen before that is straight bad.

Raoches just straight up die to stalker sentry with a 6gate. UNLESS they get burrow. And then it's a tossup which requires tons of work on the zergs part. MC's forcefields are superb, and forcefield pretty much counter roaches.

Do you really need Ret to talk about that? Just check the last PTR (aka pylon block "disabled")..
About the 3rd game, I think that what killed Ret is the hatch first in close positions..

okay that makes things more clear ... i know the mind games. i'm not THAT newbie.


At least they patch the cannon-wall-in, but i clearly cannot see a zerg ever (only if they get highly overpowered) winning a tournament anymore with this mappool.

Hydras should be T1 unit and maybe slightly cheaper on gas, would make them a lot more viable and prevent most cheeses

Every single map in the SC2 pool are too small, no exception.

Some maps are to small, yes, but saying that about every single map just makes me laugh. The problem is not really about the maps.
