Replays are being uploaded now, they will appear in the link located in OP. Unfortunately I have to upload these manually so it will take a few more hours to finish uploading 8gb.

Serious question though, what did TOP do that was so different? The base trade was kind of a luck situation for game 1 so ignore that. The 2nd game was the standard Raven/Banshee push (more of a Jinro style than say Polt). The 3rd/4th game was standard MMM+vikings. I genuinely think that TOP had simply superior mechanics overall which won him the series as surprising as that sounds against MC.

I really don't see it the same way. What you considered 'standard' only happened after Top had already secured an advantage by playing (also strategically) better not by being mechanically superior.

In game 3 he got a big advantage by holding off the Void Rays brilliantly and having his expansion running safely way before MC did. Game 4 he countered with 6 marines which allowed him to get a quick gold expansion up and MC was fighting an uphill battle from that point on. MC never even got his gold up in that game I don't see how you can point at this games and say it was standard so mechanics must have made the difference. Every single game that lead up to standard armies Top went into that stage with an advantage due to strategy.

Contrary to what many here believe losing 0-4 does not make Top the better and superior player. It makes him the better and superior player today. Nothing else. To really say something about who is better you need to look at a much larger sample of games.

I agree with this. TOP and MC being teammates, they probably played hundreds of games against each other and it is probably pretty clear who is the better one overall.

Probably Jinro and Ret know who is the better one. Something tells me it is MC.

Apparently TOP is one of the best in practice with MC and Zenio but he doesn't perform as well in important matches (GSL/Dreamhack). The only instance besides this tournament where he has done well is the TSL vs oGs showmatch where he takes out Tester/Clide/FD in a row.

This is how I believe terran has to play protoss. Your units are not cost effective in fights, but you abuse the immoblity of the toss by taking more expos and harasssing and there by winning.

I don't understand why MC didn't get more Stalkers and research Blink. Don't all of us know with weak ass Protoss air that Blink Stalkers are what you need to deal with Vikings? Surly MC does. Maybe he was just exhausted and Tops aggression through him off I don't know but that was not the best MC we have seen. Also his FF placement was weak allowing Top to either escape or have too many units inside FFs. Not to take anything away from Top who played perfect but MC was not "top" of his game. I doubt you'll ever see another 4-0 again.

MC lost all his games just as how I lose my games vs Terran. Exact same unit composition timing pushes with less than optimal forcefields = lose. Main reason I get bored of playing the game and switch to other games lately.
