Otherwise, gg MC, i enjoyed the finals. I think Rain could have went down to the wire with better decision making in games 2 and 4, which were very winnable.

MC said he was gonna stand on the podium and do a pirate captain pose (i guess it would look something like the Captain Morgan label?) but the staff told him not to do it. But yeah, I was thinking that MC would copy FBH and pelvic thrust with the sharp trophy =P for an epic diss

To give Rain some credit, he had his builds really well worked out. You could tell he had practiced a lot. But MC just has way too much BW experience to lose this series. I'm just disappointed he didn't catch on to the banshee on Xel'Naga.

Especially when people are paying money to watch this, and they got huge sponsors to back the tournament. Hell, the Super Bowl doesn't have this many commercials, and it's probably 1000x grander in scale. Otherwise, gg MC, i enjoyed the finals. I think Rain could have went down to the wire with better decision making in games 2 and 4, which were very winnable. theres like 30 minutes between the second quarter and 3rd quarter in the superbowl... One thing I dont think people understand about E-sports, is that its not like regular sports where the game HAS A FRICKEN TIME LIMIT. Every football/basketball/soccer game has a pre-determind legnth of time. This is being shown on tv, meaning they have to fill an exact amount of time, with matches that could be 40 minutes, or could be 5 minutes, I for one applaud Gom on how they keep it somewhat interesting.

in the average game of football, the ball is in motion only 12 minutes per game. the more you know. if you don't believe me watch a game and measure the time the football is in motion.

Rain did not move forward his sieged tank even though he has a bunker line established??? The immortal on the high ground to attack the tanks would have been a smart play but too bad MC did not think of that. Oh, and the warp prism play was cool, as well as the psi-storms. Though at certain times, I felt MC could've just rolled Rain if he had gotten more stalkers and went in.

To the whiners or white knights of TL, do you REALLY think you can debate right after a final ? Seriously, this thread is just a flood of "LOL GG PROTOSS" or "PROTOSS NEED A NERF". This game is still young, give Blizzard some time to adjust (avoided the word "balance") it. Still waiting for a section where only top / good / serious (pick what you want) players could write and answer each other to read interresting things. ![]() Anyway, thanks to the translators and generally TL for the coverage this year, hope we will see something more interresting in 2k11.
