He was winning most of his games while putting on heavy pressure, there's no reason he shouldn't continue to try in game 7. Would be stupider to try to macro when it's already failed for him so much. He thought his SCV allin hardcountered 14-hatch. Turns out it doesn't. How did he lose Xelnaga by macroing? He lost Xelnaga due to being stupidly aggressive. Just like he lost every series but Scrap Station (in which he teched hard for a timings push and lost a strategic loss).
He was trying to pressure because you can't just not attack a zerg on 2 bases. He was already down 10 drones, sitting in his base instead of being aggressive wouldn't be better.

Though the pulling of the SCVs in the first and last game were as all-in as you're gonna get.

lolwut?? Did you watch the series? I mean did you REALLY watch it? Are you seriously revising history that's not even 20 minutes old?
Yes i did and whats ur point ? It should be a clear bo win in game 7 and even the best micro palyer right now cant win it so tell me what to do then let zerg expand every game 1 and then hope that u can get back to the game with one drop ? btw i Dont say nestea played bad at all

while still being extremly risky, you could still come out victorious of a macro game against zerg, unless the zerg 14-hatches. trying to outplay a 14-hatching zerg is almost impossible on any map, that isn't SoW. NesTea played 14-hatch every single game though..

I'm so pleased for Nestea, being a 29yr old progamer who has never been top tier finally being vindicated in such an epic way. It will mean so much to him to win this.

imo, it is not greedy to go 14 hatch, or go scv all in...
but i am quite disappointed not to see a longer final match.

I hope to see him next season when he's learnt to drop-ship play SlayerSBoxeR style or something equally outstanding to watch.
I was rooting for NesTea throughout, but that was solely because he was Zerg and I always root for my race as I guess most do.
well, u should really factor in the amount of physical and mental drain on playing a Bo7 live on stage that grand, this is techinically Foxer's first experience on such a huge event, i think at about game 6 he's basically tired out and wanted to finish the game as soon as possible because he's worn out...
and it looks like Nestea has got a stronger mental state and endurance than Foxer, and going down 2 games at the start of the series and come back from that? if this wan a Bo5 Foxer prolly would have maintained his composure easier imo...

He didn't 14 hatch on Steppes.

Actually, "sarcasm/facetiousness" is a terrible definition of irony. Irony is best described as the superposition of two (or more) diametrically opposed ideas.

Who cares? The definition of words will inevitably change, especially with words like irony which most people learn to use through context, not from actually learning the definition.

Totally agreed. Staying back just defending vs Zerg being Terran is just a GG for zerg as time increases. And that's what happened at last game, he knows that.

I agree entirely. Even the people who insist on being snobby about the definitions of words are often unsure of the definition themselves. Language is fluid, and people who oppose its natural development are fighting a fight that is both hopeless and pointless.

All in all I'm sad that BoxeR didn't win the finals, but I can't feel bad about NesTea getting his break. Just wish things could have gone more smoothly.
