Sure, the it was almost the same strategy in every game, but if your enemy scv rushes you with marine would you go rush ultras or something? No, you would get whatever you can grab, lings roaches or whatever and try to fend him off. It's the strategy that is boring to watch, not the game itself imo. As time passes, people will learn how to defend these cheese, and Blizzard will nerf the OP sides of the game and we will have perfect balance. The game is just 3 months after all, some things are still not set in stone, with thime it'll be better imo. I mean zergbong is super boring to watch when he gets to do what he wants, like the game on scrap station. It's more a case of the gamedesign itself being boring, and it is starting to feel like the variety of what can be done in the game has already been seen. All we are left with is subtle changes in the metagame or whatever. The game might be interesting again five years from now, but to me it already feels dry and dull - especially to play... and that's a huge problem, because it's supposed to be fun.

The only surprise is that Foxer made it close, I had Nestea tipped to win since the RO16. If you think my smugness is a bit dickish, you should have heard the hilarious diatribe I endured about how Foxer's TvZ was unstoppable. No idea how you could be that blind. I don't think you should be patting yourself on the back quite so hard. In my opinion we didn't see the best of BoxeR's TvZ in this series. But in the end NesTea is the winner regardless.

Irony is best described as the superposition of two (or more) diametrically opposed ideas. The "buff mules" is sarcasm, due to the idea that mules are already OP. The irony is that his proposed "buff" wouldn't do jack shit.

Yeah, as a spectator I have to say that I've found SC2 to be pretty uninteresting on the whole. What drew me into this tournament was the crazy stuff we started seeing from BoxeR. I enjoyed watching the clan games the other day since they turned out to be pretty offbeat, but the only other player who I have a good time following is Cella since he makes his stream so much fun. Edit: Oh, and aMeBa. He is TOO HANDSOME to not support.

From 2011 new system that players were ranking for is starting. Hmm kinda interesting how things repeated, again 3 T and 1 Z in finals, again Z managing to win. Even tho i'm zerg player myself, and happy how things are going from fan point of view, you have to feel a litlle bit sorry for Toss players, how things go for them. Hopefully in GSL 3 one of them will stand up a bit stronger I mean, finals lose epicness for you, when there isn't your race to cheer for, no mather how great players play.

The definition of words will inevitably change, especially with words like irony which most people learn to use through context, not from actually learning the definition. This is so stupid i just had to respond. So you want to turn irony into a synonym for sarcasm? cause that's exactly what that guy did. If we did this we would no longer have a word for irony, wouldn't that be kinda sad? To be more on topic i enjoyed the finals, but i kinda wished there would have at least been one longer game with more macro and bigger fights but i guess boxer really didn't want that to happen which is understandable when you're up against a 14 hatch zerg opening.
