Besides that, I wished it was a bo7 or something since why do they have to end the convention so early? Not like gamers go to bed at this time (9 PM PST for those wondering).

I'm sorry that your definition of micro is the hold position micro with MM that a silver-league player can do. Dropping banelings mid-battle and flanking is (if I had to put a mathematical value to it) something like 50 times harder than your precious "micro."

I'm saying Z macro is stronger, so people should probably try deny the macro from ramping up instead of trading armies. Boxer would have probably done better if he'd denied those expos with timely scouting and a single medivac. The truth is hostile? Have even read some of these posts that are souring up one of the most epic matches of SC2 so far? The trolls were out in full force today.

Besides, Fruit was probably the better player in BW compared to Boxer when before both switched. Boxer hasn't been the same in BW since 2005.

It's not unreasonable to talk about matchups if it's constructive and not outright whining. After an epic ZvT it's natural that people will talk about how lategame ZvT works. It'd be fine if the immediate argument wasn't "hey blizzard did something wrong" instead of "what did fruitdealer do to win so decisively". I don't know about all the other people whining about whiners, but I'm just sort of disappointed that even with a boxer vs fruitdealer exhibition casted by tastosis AND day9, there's someone who still finds something to be mad about.

It's true, though. We know BoxeR's SC1 control is godlike, but in that game he was dominated in every aspect.

BoxeR displayed that he has what it takes to contend with the best, and Fruit Dealer showed true potential to become the first SC2 bonjwa (somewhat ironically). I can't wait for what's to come.

So im guessing boxer got a little to anxious after winning that straight up fight at the gold from multiple fronts. Most Ts, including myself do make a mistake of over pushing which boxer did (it would work in BW btw since the amount of reinforcements from Z is literally cut in half or more). He should have regathered his forces for another push.

I don't think that's the argument. And I don't see anyone mad, except a few single-digit smurf accounts with their one-liner raging. I don't even think there's an argument, but rather a discussion. I can see that any strategy discussion that factors races into it is bound to be treated as a balance whine, and that's probably understandable, given how much whining there is. So I'll stop talking about it here, just adding that I don't think for one second that FD won because he was Zerg, but rather that he's really good at playing his race and the game in general. I'm more interested in how ZvT will evolve. This was an epic match with epic casting.
