Because he's just da man. I would add BratOK amd DIMAGA to that list ( remember that DIMAGA played 4-3 with check and 3-4 with FD)...
Dimaga is one of my heroes, as a Zerg player myself.

They are casting a match per hour or so (aside from the tech issues). The long breaks are there for a reason, they have 4 simultaneous streams going on... They want people to have a chance check out everything else going on. The other events are there, and they have resources dedicated in that as well. No reason for Blizzard to exclude their other investments over a SC2 tournament.
WoW is offline to. Do they really expect that we want to see a dance contest?? I mean if your there yeah okey its fun. But not when there is startcraft going on. I cant imagine you let people pay and only show around 1/6 of the tournament Dude, the dance isnt the only thing payers get. You get to see the panels too.

And btw, EG is lucky to have signed Idra, otherwise they would a joke of a team. No competent results since the game came out. Only a bunch of everrated players, including Incontrol.

The last patch is pretty depressing for terrans so that must be why he decided to, he was practising more with zerg lately it seems, and it was a good decision imo. Too bad he had to ONLY play mirrors against very strong zergs ... no way he could take those players in a ZvZ playing terran all this time, but I'm pretty confident he could've win a lot if it wasn't for mirroring such strong players
oh wow i had no idea i still think it woulda been a better idea to go with his terran though because all the mirror matchups at top levels are super intricate and require mind games that i don't think tlo could bring to the table with his rusty and recently slightly dusted off zerg. anyway you think he'll be zerg in gsl3?

I herd that he was playing Z a lot more lately even before GSL. I don't know if he was contemplating a switch or not. Though i'm really unsure as why he decided to switch to Zerg vs Sen. ZvZ is really an awkward match-up unless you main Zerg, it was probably disadvantageous for him. Especially given that it was Sen he was matched up against.

Agreed.
A series of Diablo III trailers and game-play features at least. I mean... they have us by the balls anyway. Might as well sell their products?

And here he lost to Genius and Demuslim, which are both very very good. All he showed at MLG was ONE SINGLE build order over and over again and a bunch of incompetent Protoss players not being able to defend it again and again and again. He had a very hard time against Slush but Slush is hardly a top player and still he struggled in like 2 30 minutes games. Then he met Idra who crushed him in 10 minutes. Now Select met an actual good Protoss and lost of course. Then he met an actual good Terran and lost. I am so tired of reading how good Select was at MLG when I remember how bored I was of seeing the same build order and the ONLY same 3 units in every game, marines, marauders, medivacs. Trying something else will result in failing for Select. Next time pay some attention to the matches. In the Finals Select said himself that he hasn't have any Zerg practise at all, because none of his friends doesn't play Zerg. That would actually be why he struggled in that match-up.
well, apparently he was too good for machine to practice zvt

Except there's actually nothing going on on the other streams!
