It is. A very skilled wow player, sc2... Not so much

As a viewing experience, this tourney is worse than your average impromptu Bronze-level KOTH tourney, organized by a 15-year old, and announced in the SC2 Tourney forum 10 minutes before it starts...

Terrible play. This. Same with the whole TLO story, hyped to kingdom come but ever since the terran nerf he's done what exactly? It's just a simple fact that asia > rest of the world in sc2 aswell, people will start realizing this soon when all their hyped players make ro32 at best. Only one who actually has a chance is idra because of his background and practise over there. It's really hilarious when people say stuff like this. Compare the level of play at GSL ro64 versus MLG DC. MLG DC >>>>>>>>>>>>> GSL ro64 except for like 4 games. I mean seriously there were some embarrassingly bad matches @ gsl. Idra for example just flattened his opponent. Just wrecked. First of all, you're comparing all of MLG DC (ie presumably the semis/ finals) to the Ro64 GSL? How does that even make sense? And honestly even then, MLG DC was mediocre level of play from everyone but Select. Select was the most over rated player at the event. Making ONE SINGLE bo to kill al protoss players, and when he met a zerg he lost the whole thing in 10 minutes.
Ive seen this a million times. If select is able to win vs P with the same build order 10 games in a row, doesnt that mean that he is BRILLIANT and solid, and all the Ps are overrated. Im a P player but if they play into selects hands why should he change his BO? It works.

Its like saying this: Since Tester lost to a semi-unknown 2-0 after HopeTorture 2-0, he must be a terrible player. there is no other explanation. He is not having a bad month or week or anything, he's just a bad player. I would disagree with you on huk being better then Kiwi and i'll tell you why. Other then pvp which is kiwi's worst match up and huk's best so huk will beat kiwi in a mirror match up and that is the only mu imo that huk is better at. From what I have seen of Kiwi his pvt is very solid his games vs select were top notch and some small mistakes cost him the game. Huk got destroyed by select due to not having the multi tasking and all that. And it seems Huk never wants to take a third. Pvz every game I have seen huk play pvz he gets stomped. Never seen him play a good zerg and actually compete with them (this is going by streams like ITL MLG vs Idra). Kiwi's pvz is good while I feel he did not show it that much at MLG other then that 1st game I would still say kiwi's pvt/pvz are above huk. My opinion of course but it just seems like Huk does not like to expo that much. Maybe its because he gets nervous I dunno i don't watch his practice games so I can't comment on that but in live tournament play so far I can easily say I feel kiwi is the better player ^^.
Maybe so that HuKs PvT and PvZ skills aren't as good as they could be, but I was thoroughly impressed in IEM new york in his games vs drewbie. Against a very, very good terran, he threw away the first game and still came back and won.

I would add BratOK amd DIMAGA to that list ( remember that DIMAGA played 4-3 with check and 3-4 with FD)...

They are casting a match per hour or so (aside from the tech issues). The long breaks are there for a reason, they have 4 simultaneous streams going on... They want people to have a chance check out everything else going on. The other events are there, and they have resources dedicated in that as well. No reason for Blizzard to exclude their other investments over a SC2 tournament.
WoW is offline to. Do they really expect that we want to see a dance contest?? I mean if your there yeah okey its fun. But not when there is startcraft going on. I cant imagine you let people pay and only show around 1/6 of the tournament

I can't believe some people still think this isn't live. I even texted my friend to confirm, post it here...Oy.

And here he lost to Genius and Demuslim, which are both very very good. All he showed at MLG was ONE SINGLE build order over and over again and a bunch of incompetent Protoss players not being able to defend it again and again and again. He had a very hard time against Slush but Slush is hardly a top player and still he struggled in like 2 30 minutes games. Then he met Idra who crushed him in 10 minutes. Now Select met an actual good Protoss and lost of course. Then he met an actual good Terran and lost. I am so tired of reading how good Select was at MLG when I remember how bored I was of seeing the same build order and the ONLY same 3 units in every game, marines, marauders, medivacs. Trying something else will result in failing for Select.
Next time pay some attention to the matches. In the Finals Select said himself that he hasn't have any Zerg practise at all, because none of his friends doesn't play Zerg. That would actually be why he struggled in that match-up.

I don't know how Select played during this series, so not defending him but just to be fair, if you watch his replays from MLG DC, he does have much more varied builds (especially v Terran) and most of them were very effective (i.e. ghost drops).

Im getting so bored. They should have at least some music, or replays, whatever.

You are missing the point that Huk vs Loner actually HAD the results on a site with the brackets! Its true! The results for Huk vs LONER were up there an hour before the games started! It has NOTHING to do with someone mentioning the Luffy game. Actually, the results for Hul vs Loner were up BEFORE the games were on the stream.

this is like by miles and miles the worst SC2 event ever
I wouldn't be surprised if they show like half a game from boxer vs fruitdealer and then go blue screen
