TLO is rated pretty highly inside OGS house I believe.. more factors play in than just who are the better players when setting up a line up.. maybe TLO doesn't want to all kill, then face off with fruit dealer who he has to play in r016 :D, can;t give away his strats yet.. also.. while Ensnare/Inca are up there in skill, I don't think TLO is as far behind as you make it sound

He had a total of 6 gateways and 2 robos, with the 2 robos being powered by more than 1 pylon. Additionally, the pylon powering those gateways were protected by a cannon, while the mineral line wasn't protected yet.

Why didn't Zenio target that and then kill Tester's economy? I'm sure I'm just being an idiot here but it seems like the obvious move. I believe there were at least 2 pylons on the bottom that would power 2 of the gateways. He had a total of 6 gateways and 2 robos, with the 2 robos being powered by more than 1 pylon. Additionally, the pylon powering those gateways were protected by a cannon, while the mineral line wasn't protected yet. Ah, thanks, didn't realise two of the Gateways would have still been powered. Guess he made the right decision there then.

Showing the players playing subsequent games kinda ruins the point of a "results" spoiler... Except the last game I suppose. Since the winning player will stay on :/

That was very good reaction by Top. If SKS got his DT into the main, he would have done loads more damage.

Hard groups/unorthodox strategies, it's not like these guys have 90% ladder records. It's pretty understandable that a competent player throwing something they're not used to at them could take a few games.

Pretty unexpected series. I mean, I know that oGs has its fair share of ballers, but watching Tester, Tester, Cool, and Clide all fall to TOP is really nuts. I mean, those are three players who lots of folks claim are the best, each for his own reasons. This guy just smacked all of their faces. That's impressive as hell whether TOP beat all to Koreans on a web TV show or not.

A pure Bio player with the eco advantage giving up any map control/scouting to someone with a heavy tank count is asking to have their natural sieged. Honestly you're comment it's pretty freaking trashy manner up kid.

People like this are what's wrong with the world. In my most honest opinion. I believe most top players are ROUGHLY the same. Sure the notables are above the pack, but within that higher class most players are MORE OR LESS the same. The difference is "easily" overcome by a ON/OFF day or a small "over eager-ness/mistake". I mean if this was a bo7 I am sure it could've gone either way with either sSKS Cool or Clide. get what im saying?

Unfortunately, it makes absolutely 0 sense to throw away their games like that. It was quite obvious that all players tried pretty hard, desperate last maneuvers. If clide was throwing his game away he wouldn't embarass himself by throwing all the SCV. He would GG once it seemed like it was GG. The fact that he stuck till the very end and even dumping scvs means he really wanted that game. I am sure all those players wanted the game. I mean tester's proxy DT? So its completely invalid to say they weren't giving their best. That is not to say that is their best of all times but most likely the best at that point in time.

I am leaning towards this - SKS's and Fruitseller's games looks like they were testing a lot of things out. Ofcause not... if they were testing something new they wouldnt show it before gsl... You should give TOP credit and dont start finding excuses of why he won. I'm not trying to take it all away from Top. He played damn good, especially his control. Using the medivacs to save units from DTs and his tank control is just epic. The reason, however, that I say SKS and Fruitseller weren't giving their all is because their reactions on the losses weren't as though they tried as hard as they could. Heck, Fruitseller was laughing at the end, and the entire TSL line were just smiling after Clide's loss. Don't get me wrong I feel the same as you as though they haven't given their best. I too also believe all 3 ssks cool clide to be superior (perhaps by a small margin) than oGs TOP or at least superior on a more regular basis. I'm 100% sure Clide is a good enough player to know he lost the game after the orbital at his natural went down, at that point It was pretty much mathematically impossible for him to have a come back. The average observer can see that. I can be pretty safe in assuming Clide has better game sense than the average observer.

Top looked fine yes, but TSL simple played really poor games I don't know if they completely didn't care or not, but I'm fairly certain having an opinion doesn't make me a blight on this planet. I don't really need to give him much credit for his wins vs Cool or Clide, as they quite simply handed the games away. Tester vs Top was quite fine actually an interesting game to watch, but sSKS having templar tech for as long as he did and only having a single Templar ready when the push came was a fairly large blunder. Sorry but if those games had been rated the same way they were in the TL feature from the first GSL I really doubt they would've even made 3 stars with the second two games barely worthy of 2.

He did have alot of units considering he went DTs. I didn't think going DTs would work so many games in a row, they have sat there and watched him use DTs all the time, cmon -.-

Even worse, in this case it was useless sacrifice, not even tanking. It was going to be tanking, if he had attacked aggressively, while the other army was killing the crawlers. Taking the gold base as his third after already having DTs get into his base was a pretty big mistake. It made it so he wasn't even able to produce units out of that hatch effectively. Check was definitely behind after the dt opener, but it seemed like he thought he was going to be able to get spire tech before any significant push came out. I'm just saying he was unprepared by my estimation because he was throwing down 3 new spine crawlers right as the rocks broke :\.

Umm ok please tell me how Cool expanding to the second natural on scrap station. A map where you're almost guaranteed to see some sort of hellion/banshee opening and thus preventing a concerted defense. Is not the in game equivalent of literally stating you're screwing around? Then after blocking the reactor starport with his ling for 5 seconds being completely unprepared for the viking harass that followed, to be fair, mostly because of the way he expanded. Then finally going for a baneling bust against a player who was primarily going tank banshee. Yeah really put Top against the wall with that one. As for the last game everything was going completely fine Till Clide let Top march his tanks up to the watchtower complete unopposed, then from there simply retreated to his natural after one attempt to catch Top's army out of position instead of circling around for the counter attack to force Top back till he could get tanks of his own out/or a higher marauder count. Pretty much all that happned in that game was Top macroing up a force of banshees/tanks/and marines walking over to Clide's natural and winning. Please explain to me at what point that game became exciting, because I'm pretty sure our hero didn't get a chance to turn off autopilot. It was pretty obvious how one sided those games were, it kind of baffles me that you aren't able to realize this as well, "But I can see how an uninformed viewer would think so, because of the way the games played out." From the way TSL reacted to losing it kind of seemed like they were shitting around while Top got all serious face on them, at the very least Cool definitely was. While I'm certainly never going to be anywhere close to as good as him at zerg, even I know the way he expanded was pretty much asking to lose or for a very stupid looking game to happen.

Also.. I can see Clide and Fruitdealer playing bad just cause they don't want to reveal anything for GSL 2.. the prize pool is significantly larger compared to this small team tournament. But tester didn't qualify.. no reason for him to throw games.. I think it was just solid play on Top's part with a few mistakes from TSL.. i don't think he just got free wins by any means. I don't like when people say that a guy's win isn't good enough.. what does he have to do All Kill them again??????
