Probably I'm just frustrated that instead of the SC2 finals, I'm watching a bunch of people standing around pointing guns through little cracks in doors. -.- Saying that the gameplay in CS is the same as in most "modern shooters" (whatever that is), is like saying that the gameplay of BW is the same as in other RTS:s because you build units and attack the enemy. Besides, nicer graphics doesn't necessarily mean better graphics when it comes to shooters, in fact all quakeplayers have always tweaked their configs to make graphics worse but more distinct. But yeah, after ten years of the same maps and 6 (8) years of exactly the same game most tactics are indeed figured out and not much revolutionary stuff is going on anymore. | ||
