That doesn't excuse Zenio's play, he made several mistakes in the matchup primarily with unit composition and he was clearly the weaker player.

Remember that this guy also knocked out Cezanne in the first round, so he's certainly not one of those random Protosses who lucksacked his way to this point. I think he stands to go a long way in this tournament.

Heh. rofl if it was protoss "over doing" stalkers he could just blink micro and still defeat a hard counter. He also did have corrupters out, they just take 10 days to kill coll Face it the game is NOT balanced, zerg can still win. If zerg had played that good and was terran the game would be over. 3 Bases to 1 base.. ZvP is largely considered the most balanced match up in the game by top players. I don't know what you're basing that off of. I would say that TvP is easily more balanced. Nony and Incontrol said it in some State of the Game podcasts, to give an example. Not disagreeing, TvP is pretty bloody balanced imo as well. non-korean protosses in general are horrible pvz. very few people can abuse it well- just watch some socke reps and compare it to just about any other protoss. And then watch Tester and nexgenius. Haven't really been watching many Korean games other than the GSL, should've mentioned I was referring to western players. But yeah, definitely been impressed by Korean toss players. Tester is a monster in SC2, and it kind of feels like the zerg so far have been lacking (Zenio for an example). Not really enough to make a judgement, for me anyhow. This might change soon enough though.

I still think that we don't see Phoenixes as often as we should and that they're still largely underrated. Protoss uses phoenixes, and it's "beautiful play, great micro, what a beast" Zerg has... Nydus worm. And everyone goes "LOL THEY SUCK, WHAT A DUMB ZERG" This is why almost every zerg does mutas every match, they are the only unit that can actually move around the map doing stuff without being hindered by creep.

t's amazing how much better Vikings are vs colossi than the unit that is supposed to hard counter them... Corruptors. Vikings hit colossus for 28 and have 125hp. Corruptors hit colossus for 20, but have slightly faster attack speed and 200hp/2 armor.

Man if he only went hatch first, so good versus 2 gate.. man you are a strategic master that protoss played beautifully, letting a nydus come up in his main, kill his nexus, and another stop all saturation on his natural, and cut his gas to 3/4ths of max. Amazing play. Amazing forcefields, hitting 1fffff and clicking in an arc.

Appearantly, its a much bigger mistake than losing your nexus. The arguments keep getting more and more ridiculous. Im a zerg player and even i know he made shitty decision. Massing up hydras is bad ih hes getting like 4 collosus again its easy to be self-critical as zerg because if youre steal playing Z youre most likely at least a little bit masochistic. But youre missign the very important fact that protoss made just as many mistakes and easily won. yes protoss took some heavy losses but zerg lost half his army with a futile push. it always makes me cringe when zerg players refuse to retreat sooner when forcefields and colossi are tearing up his army.

But still i saw that stomp coming before he even took out the nexus.
