Watching T is just annoying at this point. Maka didnt deserve either of his wins. First was just full of playermistakes and the second was abuse of an OP unit. He didn't deserve the wins ? are you drunk or something ?
I am not drunk, but I wish I were when I saw someone playing so bad and still win. Maybe I wouldnt have noticed that he played like a scrub.

Why do people say that terran did ton of mistakes, when he did nothing compared to Z... What Z did is similar to a terran walking towards the Z base on creep and gets cought unsieged by the Z army. He will get desimated and lose the game.
Z made a horrible attack, and his roach switch was just as bad. He should had stayed with linx, baneling muta and if anything added infestor.

It's fine to plug EG once or twice but not 10+ times that it seemed like.

Let him mule gold? wtf was he supposed to do. Reapers>lings, roach(nospeed) , that gold was 100% safe, he had tower up on gold when the 6 muta hatched, but not in his main.
That game was utter bullshit, and maka should have lost it if there was any balance to the matchup.
Blizzard is for sure watching GSL, and after 2th game I think they know they gotta do somthing more then 5 sec to reaper to balance the matchup. They are also NERFING ultralisk...

I think its OK to discuss issues that have gone on in the tournament.
Yes there is some flame but it is usually somewhat relevant to the games being played

Silly mistake, attempting to make roaches, brilliant stop move micro by Maka, people here shouldn't be complaining when reapers outrange any supposed zerg counter that exists in T1. Save the whining for the bnet forums where they'll fall upon deaf ears.
That sounds reasonable...

I'd imagine Reapers can bypass the Spines quite effortlessly and just snipe the drones, or you need like 5 spines per base and will just lose in Macro

That's just the thing.
If you are not prepared for voids when they come, you lose. No other unit is like that. You still have a small chance of out-micoring to survive.
If a zerg doesn't have a hydra den or spire already up, they lose.
How many overlords was idra supposed to sack? 4? 5?

Well Blizzard might update after RO32 OR in weekend but thats leaves one RO32 left. If that happens TLO might get shafted.

As if the T/P players would be prepared for everything all the time. With Z its like being in a boxmatch and having ur arms cut off, ur only chance of winning is dodging every move he has until he finally falls over from exhaustion.
Nice, best analogy ever!
Edit: Doesn't matter too much for the Zerg match ups now if Blizzard patches inbetween the GSL rounds. Because only 4 Zergs are left so few ZvT/Ps will be affected by it.

in game 2 it was 3 void rays vs two queens (that weren't even close together) - in game 3 it was, I think initially 2 void rays against roach/broodlord
if you wanna whine about void rays...fine: but then plz find better examples than todays' games
the 2nd game of maka was sad to watch: I don't understand how all of you can cheer "great micro, great micro" when there isn't "that" much that you could do wrong; I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm getting sick of the imba-talk too that recurs in every thread; but constantly emphasizing how awsome the skill of the reaper-user is is also getting pretty old

I'm actually finding that overall there seems to have been less and less whining as the days progress, or at least when balance is brought up an attempt is made to justify the complaint. As opposed to just, "ZvT hurp de derp de doo"

You've got to be joking. Reapers are worse in TvZ. You can see it coming and still lose hardcore. Losing from something that catches you completely off guard is not imbalanced. It's quite a valid tactic.

I agree that reapers are incredible retarded and should be getting the bat. But ultra's are also incredible good and I think a nerf is fine there aswell. Surving to tier 3 shouldnt mean autowin for Z aswell as zerg shouldnt suffer coinflip loses due 20 different terran openings.

I would like to see that because I'm curious how he survives until he has the Queens and Spine Crawlers up.
