BC's cause the Pheonix to do 3 per hit (2 hits) for a total of 6 damage every 1.5 seconds or so.


Actually BC has 3 amor which means that phoenix does 4 dmg per sho and sentries 3. Also he didn´t have a lot of stalkers which would do 11 dmg at least. But that rush with repair seems insanely stong.

I like how everyone is forgetting how easy it is to scout the fusion core, and realize there's going to be a window in which the T has invested a ton into a BC, but doesn't yet have it.

AugustWerra used this strategy in some broadcast matches about 2 weeks ago, so I was quite suprised that he used 'Repairion' again in this match, and actually win. Repairion became his trademark since that matches and I assumed there should be countermeasure for this, but now it seems that I underestimated the might of 'Repairion'.

Well BC is basically awful against air and you can just get air-to-air counter units against it after scouting... I personally don't think it's OP, but it's a nice, flashy strategy

Vikings and Corrupters destroy BCs and Void Rays as well so... you just need to scout.

Give people time to come up with counters. If people had the same mindset about SC1 and the need to constantly patch everything as they do in SC2 we'd see marines nerfed because Flash is too good with them, lurkers nerfed because Jaedong uses them too well, and so on. People can come up with strategies and tactics to counter things if given the time. If that fails, then give it a "hard fix" with a patch, but there needs to be some time given for people to really explore more counters.

And stimmed Marines eat Void Rays, and there is also SCV repair.
