I stand corrected! =p Grats root on such an amazing showing.

Root proves itself to be a tip top-tier team (count those alliterations). USA & Canada representing!

WoW pvp is still horrible because the game wasnt built for it and has to cater to two different crowds of people. It will never take as much skill as SC 2.

Yea, some friends are saying the same thing. Not sure why some people have it and some people don't

The mini-map is bottom left, player cams are bottom right. They have nothing to do with each other, they are separate.

... The feed for some people, myself included, is shifted to the left. Meaning, the mini-map is cut off and the player cam is not. It's annoying not being able to see one side, which is important to spectators while being able to fully see the other, which is irrelevant.

High level arena takes at least as much skill as Sc2. Random wow pvp takes as much skill as dominating the bronze league does. I think your miking the 2 up.

Still no Gretorp score ;(

To the people having trouble with the minimap. Here are your options. A) Don't fullscreen it. B) Change your resolution to a widescreen resolution ie. 1280*720 or some equivalent. C) Don't fullscreen it and use the windows magnifier in fullscreen mode to view it.
I was able to watch the games with the minimap the whole time(before I changed my resolution I had the same problem). Hopefully someone can post this on the first page so that those with issues can figure it out.

Meh. I don't know how much WoW arena has changed but competition back then seemed like a joke, mostly just kids relying on RNG and the strength of their compos to pull them through to the next round. Can you explain how it takes "high apm" and the ability to think "very dynamically", because frankly I highly doubt that =p Then it shows how little you know about the arena scene. What your saying about the competition is like me looking at the sc2 diamond league and saying the general skill curve is decided by people in the top 10 of there respective division. Top WoW arena players are so far beyond the average person gaining gladiator titles that its not even funny.
100% right, you really have no idea how much skill and talent high level WoW arena players have. I think it is a terrible Esport to watch but it maybe the hardest game to actually be good at on a top level. Unless you've played at a higher end of wow pvp you will not understand that this is true. 3 people planning coordinated attacks and defenses against another 3 people all with many different counters and strategies. Nearly impossible to understand what's going on watching a stream, can you imagine what it's like playing.

if your stream is getting cut off at the side when you go full screen, just use ctrl + mousewheel to zoom in to almost fullscreen instead

I hope Gretorp wins. So many clowns need to be bopped in this tournament.

3 Protoss and 1 Zerg still alive in the losers' bracket.
2 Protoss and 1 Zerg still alive in the winners' bracket.
Not bad at all considering the actual #of invited players per race.
Edit: Looking at current brackets, at least. Do the people knocked out in round 3 still get to go through losers'?

Only happens to me on widescreen on my laptop, which isn't extreme widescreen. I don't believe it happens on my desktop. Might be a aspect ratio issue. I just kept the stream not fullscreen for most.

About people completely oblivious to the fact that you can be good at starcraft even if you play/have played WoW..
The entire argument is so stupid. It doesn't even matter if WoW was the easiest thing in the world or rocket science. Why would him playing WoW exclude him from being a good sc2 player? It makes no sense at all. It's like saying that you can't be good at starcraft if you enjoy jogging (jogging is easy).

No, it doesnt. The fact Blizzard has to try and balance around two different aspects of the game makes it inherently more imbalanced.
