Inka is out. Time beat him in what's probably an upset. Still waiting on Gretorp vs Everytime.

Great cast by MLG. I can't wait to see more tommarow. My only beef with the whole cast is SHOW THE MINI MAP!!! I hate not being able to see the mini map in a SC game.

So if you want to watch VOD's, etc, do you have to pay 10$? That's what I understand. I won't be able to watch the finals tomorrow D:

Gretorp 1-1 Everytime, from what I see in match history

He got to round 3 and still did pretty good. While you pros are at home sitting in your ivory towers.
Haters. What, we can't criticize his bad play? Masq is horrible. How can you fail at the easiest Terran opener, against ZERG!? Also, when his build got interrupted, guess what? WHAT CAN I DOOOOOOO?!?!?
You obviously have no idea what you are talking about if you call 5rax reaper the easiest terran opening. reactor hellions is sooo much easier to do, not counting any of the 3 rax pushes or marine tank expand.
5 rax reaper, done with good micro AND macro is one of the harder terran openings to pull off against a good zerg, much less one of Slush's caliber.

It definately is easier. But that's not a reason to think theres no talented player. After all games are no rocket science everything is easy lol

Day 1 conclusion-
*Some good games (drewbie vs socke), some terrible games but most were kinda meh.
*Still too many terrans making it through, not enough zergs and protoss.
* =( Nony and Socke and Machine
*Casters were both good although I wont go into details as there have pages upon pages of criticism.
*Overall a pretty good first day, I'm sure many new viewers will want to continue watching the tourney.

Yeah that was a big upset as well. Incontrol knocked out two great players this tournament. He should be happy, I guess, since it means that he's on track to win it.

One of the best Live Casts and Streams I have watched in a very long time. Props to MLG and all commentators, my 5 hours well spent. Off to get some beef jerky and some old spice.

DUDE. It's much more important that we get to see the player cams in the bottom right...
Seriously though, I was raging about this too. It's incredibly frustrating not being able to see half the mini map.

Man, root dominance, 8 people in the winners bracket and 4 are root.

Terran theme music in the background on the stream makes me think my game is running right now.

I'm sure it hurts to hear your fellow teammate isn't god's gift to SC2, but he was pretty bad against Slush.

I'm confused. Does Nony not get seeded into the next MLG now?

The map issue has to do with your resoloution. I am not sure of a fix but when I watch full screen on my laptop it cuts out the corners/sides, when i had it hooked up to my TV I could see everything.

Meh. I don't know how much WoW arena has changed but competition back then seemed like a joke, mostly just kids relying on RNG and the strength of their compos to pull them through to the next round. Can you explain how it takes "high apm" and the ability to think "very dynamically", because frankly I highly doubt that =p
Then it shows how little you know about the arena scene. What your saying about the competition is like me looking at the sc2 diamond league and saying the general skill curve is decided by people in the top 10 of there respective division. Top WoW arena players are so far beyond the average person gaining gladiator titles that its not even funny.

Root Gaming Fighting!!! I believe 5 actually - qxc, Kiwikaki, CauthonLuck, SLush, and drewbie.

Epic games, epic production value
you must have missed the horrible MLG cast with the two halo players.

VODs of matches from all games usually go up within about 3-5 days after the conclusion of an event..halo3 has more of a priority as they are usually up 1-2 days after. and im pretty sure the broadcast goes on loop after the finals till about monday
