Blizzard just doesnt has a clue about tournaments and what not, alot of RTS have save options for multiplayer so you can restart after a crash. Blizzard is just kinda incompotent creating a proper game interface and menu options.

Yeah have you actually watched the tournament? Dimaga hast to work his ass off, flank perfectly, and even after he destroys the whole Terran army, its np because the other player got mules, and immediately not only does herebuild his army but also pulls ahead in food while having less bases than the zerg.

what you do is you both agree to save the game at some point in the game. when there's not much going on.

Sorry but this is wrong, there are no comprehensive rules to make for these situations. Tarson was not at fault, and he still had at least a decent chance to win the game. It's always best to allow the players to decide something first, if they cannot agree the ref can force something. The players are professionals, sure emotions can factor in but in general they can decide pretty well.

You tell me how it feels after you've been in a situation where you feel like you're clearly ahead, but you don't want to be viewed as a bad mannered player for not accepting a regame. Sure, he'll give the regame, but he's not happy and it shouldn't be his decission to make anyways.
