NOTE: Hidden conflicts can occur when Blizzard hardcode an unused ability to a key (say E). When someone (say a left handed Core user) sets a different key to E it may not work because the game thinks E is for something else. I've noted possible conflicts below, these may need to be set to something else, (left handed to UIOP etc, right handed to QWER etc), or they may be legit and I just haven't unlocked them yet. Post in this thread if you confirm either way. Also: if you press a key and it doesn't work, it's not your imagination. Post in this thread which layout you use, the building and the key. From previous post to save searching:
Arbiter/Stargate= The Terran addons in the epilogue. Technically these are in TheCore but I banished them because until this expansion they were useless - I'm not even going to get started. Not all of the hotkeys are able to be changed for the campaign and co-op modes. The ones I've ran across: - Campaign (The Essence of Eternity): Xel'naga Kerigan - Celestial Beam - Co-op mode (Kerrigan/Zagara): Queen - Spawn creep tumor - Co-op mode (Zagara): Scourge Nest - Evolve Virulent Sporest - Co-op mode (Zagara): Scourge Nest - Evolve Simplified Genome - Co-op mode (Vorazun): Twilight Council - Upgrade Shadow Charge - Co-op mode (Vorazun): Twilight Council - Upgrade Darkcoil - Co-op mode (Vorazun): Twilight Council - Upgrade Phase Reactor - Co-op mode (Vorazun): Fleet Beacon - Upgrade Disruption Web - Co-op mode (Artanus): Twilight Council - Upgrade Singularity Charge - Co-op mode (Artanus): Robotics Bay - Upgrade Barrier - Co-op mode (Artanus): Zealot - Whirlwind - Co-op mode (Artanus): Phoenix - Graviton Beam - Co-op mode (Swann): Drakken Laser Drill - Upgrade Laser Drill Level 2 - Co-op mode (Raynor): Hyperion - Hyper Jump - Co-op mode (Raynor): Hyperion - Yamato Cannon - Co-op mode (Kerrigan/Zagara) The Command Card for Kerrigan/Zagara's egg shows the default hotkeys, not the ones for Kerrigan/Zagara (they switch as soon as she spawn's though) I'll update this as I remember/run across more hotkeys that aren't changeable. As an aside (this isn't a bug but it's bad enough that it should be...) but it's really annoying that you have to load into a multiplayer game to change the 'change hotkey' ui to multiplayer and then have to log into a campaign/coop game to change the 'change hotkey' ui to the campaign version. I'd suggest on the hotkeys ui to just have a different tab for each game mode. | ||

edit: So I downloaded some random key remapper and remapped the windows key as F12 (since the game doesn't recognize the windows key). Now I can use it as a camera key or whatever. | ||

I know there are some very high ranking GM's like Neuro using this layout, but I'm curious if any players on pro teams are using The Core. | ||

I just downloaded the zerg medium right 2.0 layout for nordic keyboards, but it seems like the ravager and corruptor spells are unbound. Which should I bind these to? | ||

You would have downloaded the one that is complete for HOTS. If you want to update it now to play LOTV, you can refer to Jak's video that is 2 posts prior to yours. Or, if you look at the original post on page 1, Jak has posted an edit at the very top about transitioning the hotkeys to LOTV. | ||

If anyone wants my .sc2hotkey file, its qwerty Righthand/Random/Medium (JIOP home keys) with most of the standard and campaign keys and some of the co-op keys updated for LotV, I would be happy to upload it somewhere @Bumlebi - I use the global spreadsheet for 2.0 that you can find in the original post under Resources. From there you can pick your layout and figure out which keys are available then set manually | ||
