Now just asking for some advice on setting cameras for rally points? How do you guys do it? I user the R Random 2.0, so alt is for setting/centering camera so its kinda tough to set rally cams sometimes. maybe there is a way to do it I am not doing? I like Rally cams so I can quickly set my army to CGs but latley I've just not done it cause my camera usually flys to some random place first. So i sometimes find myself unorganized and using my ALLARMY key too much. P.S. I'm making Core Profiles for corsair RGB keyboards I'v finished the R Random. My goal is to make the profiles act exactly as the Demo but that isnt possible yet with corsairs software but as soon as it is I'll do it! So if anyone wants some profiles just PM me. mentioning this because I've seen a few core users on the corsair forums looking for help. | ||

I tried TheCore a bit yesterday to see if it suits me (i'm a bit of an optimization fanatic, using dvorak with a typematrix keyboard and so on, so it seemed like the logical thing to try). I have a few questions that i didn't find answered in the faq and in the small percentage of this huge thread that i read. First, i'm having an issue with centering a structure on the screen with Alt (also happens with ctrl-f on my grid layout) : the screen moves slowly until structure is centered instead of centering it directly. It's really annoying. Any ideas how to fix it? I was then wondering why you are suggesting groups on keys "i", "l" and "9" for armies 1-3, instead of having them on the same row. It seems to me that it would be quicker for stuff like select CG1, attack, CG2, attack, CG3, attack. Did you think about adding the new 3.0 Alt key to move units to an other CG? What do you think would work best for that? I redefined a few hotkeys for my keyboard layout (bépo, the french dvorak), and i'm thinking to try something else as Alt key because my typematrix keyboard has it a bit more to the left. Might try with right arrow or something if that's possible. I also find it difficult to do ctrl+shift on it, but maybe i'll get used to it (or i'll try to redefine these too). One last thing: i'm doing like you explain in the video to press Alt on my first hatch and then make my expand camera locations hotkeys by keeping Alt pressed. Just to make sure I understand it correctly, if I want my hatches to be correctly centered once i expanded to one of these locations, i should recreate the group with Alt right? (so the initial expand camera locations are just to be able to send the worker there quicker). Thanks for this really cool project btw! | ||

1. Turn off smart camera pan! 2. We optimized the best we could for all action sequences, and not only 1a2a3a. (though 1a2a3a is a high frequency sequence and is more heavily weighted. 3. Something I'm working on. There are now 6 necessary control group and camera modifiers. There are only 6 combinations of ctrl, alt, and shift possible. That means in 3.0 we'll be using every one of them. Very difficult to do without synapse or another driver that changes modifiers (reserved for TheCore+). Last thing: Yes StefanWK Find a low priority key to use to cycle (or 2). Probably something like backspace, or \. | ||

It dosent work in the LotV Beta and HotS. The move command is working when i press the button, it just dosent repeat. | ||

My only problem is I cannot create camera location hotkeys. Im using TRM setup unchanged. I press alt - p and as soon as i hit alt my camera jumps to whatever I have selected. I can't create any camera hotkeys no matter what I try. | ||

If you don´t like it you can unbind the "center on selection" under global - camera(?) or bind it to something else. | ||
