I recently started playing again and decided to try re-learning with TheCoreV2 TRS (slightly modified)
I've gotten to a point where it's sufficiently comfortable and it feels good to perform actions with little effort.

Using the hotkey trainer was very helpful in the beginning. It was a considerable learning curve but I'm glad I made the change and look forward to improve with the layout. I'm also using 5 cameras in game which I was too lazy to do before.

It feels near-perfect but I'm going to keep tweaking ^_^

Does TheCore2 usable? I looked at the master spreadsheet "Z Overview":
I'm trying to figure out what is the proposed queen inject method with cameras on v2 for ZLM.
According to spreadsheet it is:
T (for queens, control group 8, macro 2 group)
2 (for injects)
ctrl+shift+G (main view camera), click
ctrl+shift+W (natural), click, E(third), click, R(fourth)

It looks like it is harder than v1, where I just hold shift all the time: Shift-W-E,S,D,F

Hi Toaster,

Using location cameras is slightly harder with 2.0 for injects. The layout was optimized for the rapid fire method. That being said, its easy to modify your setup to do it like you have been (almost).

If I am not mistaken, you are part of the development team of the LOTV-mod. Could you please provide the command-IDs you are using for the new abbilities, so we could update TheCore to make it compatibel to the mod? Or is somebody already looking into this?

Am I retarded?
(using PRM) To set up the base camera key at the start of the game, you press Alt+P. To set up camera 2, you press Alt+O. But pressing alt centres the camera back on your selected unit. I can't set up a second location??

I'm giving this a try and liking it so far, except why is Build Barracks on TRM L-9? That's an extremely inconvenient combo of buttons for a building you might make a dozen of in a game, often multiple at a time. I'm finding it a lot better to put Barracks on / and moving the Sensor Tower to 9.

JaKaTaKSc2 and team. I'm going to write a simple android app which loads SC2Hotkeys layout from a URL and displays part of the keyboard and allows to visualize the keybinding with pressable keys and modifier keys.
The idea: you select a unit and can see the key binding for that unit on keyboard keys.
Editing idea (potential extension): drag actions from key to key or from command card (which is displayed on side of the screen), export resulting SC2Hotkeys file.
Would it be interesting or do you have any other key visualizers where I can upload the layout?

EDIT: Actually, I don't think it is needed. I will just hack the official key visualizer to see the key mapping in browser instead.
EDIT2: I fixed small bug for visualization of larva inject in the JaKaTaKSc2 thecorevisualizer. Feel free to pull.

I had the same problem. Looking into the faq helped me;) Keep the alt key pressed the whole time, while you set up your camera positions.

@ShadowDrgn: The build basic command is bound to 2 keys. You can either press I or L. When building a baracks I would advice you too press I-9. This also prevents finger repetition. Hope this solves your problem. (And if it is not bound to I and L. please report back, because that is a bug)

TheCore Visualizer is in dire need of someone that can rebuild it in a more common language, or be able to update it etc. The person who made it disappeared over a year ago and we have no one to keep it up to date with the latest version!

this may have been asked , but at this point I'm too afraid search through hundred pages :
- How do I inject in thecore 2.0 (ZRM)? Currently I just select queen (U) and spam basecamera (=) and inject rapidfire (-), then the queen run all over the map
- How do I spread creep also?
I used thecore zerg 1.0 for a while, then switched to terran, recently I started playing again as zerg so I think it's nice to try thecore 2.0 for a change. The mastersheet is kind of confusing (so many subsheet, I mean what subsheet is meant for users to read and what is for developer?)

@MoonFan: The go to injection method is the rapid fire inject, because it is the fastest. I personally use cam injects, by binding all queens to U and use the base cams to jump to each base and inject. As I use an older version of TheCore 2.0 my camera recall uses only the Shift modifier. So I only have to press inject once and then have to left click each hatcherie. I am not completly sure, but this should also work with the Ctrl+Shift modifier. So maybe you want to try this method, because you can see, if any hatch is missing a queen.
Other solution would be manually selecting every queen and injecting the hatch next to it. I used this method for some time, but it felt to slow.

@n00b1n8r: you do not need to press 4 keys. Here a step by step guide:
1 at the beginning of the game select your main hatch
2 press and hold down alt. never let go of it, until told otherwise.
3 press the first cam hotkey 'I'
4 leftclick the minimap at your natural (do not let go of alt)
5 press the second cam hotkey ';'
6 carry on until all your base cams are set
7 let go of alt.

You only have to press your cam hotkey for a moment, to assign the binding. Afterwards you can let go of it. You only have to keep alt pressed the whole time so your camera does not recenter.

Yeah, I don't know the language and it seems the coffeecup markup language is almost abandoned by it developers as well. I have appreciated how powerful it is though.

A lot of resources is there (keyboard layouts, processing resources for key layouts) I can probably convert it to something else. The problem is - I'm not web developer, more like android developer and it is not probably what you need. You would need to cover 100% of users with the converter, but not all of them have android devices.

It might be easier to just fix the existing implementation even on the unknown language. What do you want to update?
It works just fine with the v2 layouts.

Rapid Fire inject is the go to for us not because it is the fastest, but because it is the one least affected by game scenarios (aside from manual inject).

I'm currently updating zerg pictures. It is not hard, but require some time to fix them all. Some unit actions have also changed and require some attention as well.

Update: I have updated all the zerg units. Should be all correct now. I couldn't find "Unload All" icon, so all zerg icons should be there except it.
I might take a look at other races, but no guarantees. I feel tied for now
It seems I actually forgot a few actions, like Spawn Locust for SH.
