I added it manually and it didn't seem to cause any problems (use it for RF Creep, IT,...etc) but maybe there is something I don't know. I'm using ZRM 2.0
It is listed as a RF key on the master spreadsheet so maybe it was just a mistake?

yea, that looks like a mistake in the file. w/e creep and IT is on should be RF. @Vanadiel no easy way to do it unfortunately. Best way to cut down on actions is to use shift+key and control+shift+key for creating CGs

I've been playing with the most recent build of TheCore (that is, the very recent 'unofficial' release of v2.0) whilst playing the HOTS campaign (that thing is dang fun), without even realising you wanted feedback on it! I started a brand new HOTS campaign and I'm 20 missions in so far (out of 27?) and everything's been wonderful! There is one thing however: when I look at the hotkeys menu it says that there is 1 unbound key - the Burrow key (it should be K I think). Likewise (whenever I go in-game during a mission, or if I go back to the Leviathan) the game brings up a message-box saying 'your hotkey profile has a conflict and may prevent you from ...' etc. But, despite this apparent clash, when I'm in-game I can burrow most things just fine. Looking at the hotkeys menu I can see exactly one unit that has an ability bound to K that also has burrow: the Hydralisk. Its 'Frenzy' ability is bound to K and I. Aha, after going in-game to test this I find that: I can burrow just about any collection of units by pressing K, unless the current subgroup is Hydras (by which I mean the command card is the one for Hydras) - in this case pressing K only activates Frenzy. A quick fixing of this (changing Frenzy from K, I to just I and rebinding burrow to K) seems to make starcraft happy with all the hotkeys again! Yay! tl dr: Frenzy is bound to I and K, but K clashes with Burrow. Everything else seems fine!

In the 2.0 master spreadsheet it states that there are several alternate keys for select larvae, allowing the player to make a certain unit by simply pressing the corresponding key twice. In game only J and P seem to work to select larvae (using ZRM2.0), so only drones and zerglings can be made this way. Anyone know anything about this issue? I can't guarantee that the names correlate to buttons on your keyboard, but this is at least the number of supposed bound keys to the command.

I do not know, how much harder it gets, if you have 15 years of muscle memory to get over. But normally it takes 2-3 weeks to beeing able to play games with TheCore on an acceptable level. If you have high APM it might take a little longer to get back to your current state. This time can be shortened by deliberatly practicing the hotkeys instead of just grinding ladder games. But normaly it takes at least 1 week. I never used lefthanded, but it should be as good as the righthandes version. It is basically only mirrored so there should be little to no difference. And to your last question: I have kind of huge hands myself and I am happy with the medium layout. I think it mostly depends on how you like to rest your hand. Just go with the one that feels most comfortable to you. Overall I think even a 'too small' version of TheCore is better and more relaxing for the hand than the standard or grid layout ![]() @all: Does anybody know, if there is something like TheCore for WC3?

If it still feels small or large, adjust accordingly (its a pretty easy switch between sizes). I played missions 13 through 27 and everything went absolutely fine. Nothing to report here. The only negative thing that happened was that I wanted to play a mission on casual difficulty which prevents you from setting rally points by clicking and the hotkey for that was kind of out of reach. Of course that's not directly your fault but the fault of blizzard making it that way in the first place. The spreadsheet helped a lot but at the same time it's a bit confusing atm because some things are out of date and first you have to get to the point where you know what still is correct. For example the suggested cameras and creep cameras on Z.Overview use the wrong (old) camera and creep keys. If the "suggested control groups" table is still correct, I don't know, but I think so. Last thing is the creep cameras. It kind of works. It's not bad. But I think it makes it a little bit awkward to spread creep the way they are positioned. Maybe I just have to adapt. And a question: I mainly play Zerg but sometimes I grab Terran. Do you think I should stay with ZRM or use RRM? But since the group/ability split won't stay the way it is (or will it?) it doesn't matter that much at the moment I guess. Otherwise it's great up till now. Keep up the fine work. Thank you.

1) I have kinzu mouse with only two buttons. How do you cycle thru subgroups if you have more than one kind of a building in a control group? Core use extra mouse button for that, but i don't have that buttons on my mouse. Do you use different control groups for each building or did you rebind the core? 2) what army do you bind for what control group? I use core PRM. Thanks

The videos in the OP will cover you on customizing TheCore w/o side mouse buttons. For #2, its a bit complicated. Everyone has their own way of doing things, but we do have suggested CGs if you're having trouble getting started. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/140gNhKs_1VCG6JJ9ijvEblKI9UQcpUKDTPap5t_kBeU/edit#gid=1771442654 Not super user friendly right now, but its something we're working on ![]() GLHF!

![]() This is really going off-topic here, but I wondered, if you are planing to do a fast-fact-style wrap up of the LOTV changes shown at blizzcon. After reading some posts, I realized that there is a lot more stuff going on than the few changes they advertised in the trailers (marauder double attack, colossus range change etc.). So far I was not able to find any source that gives an overview of all the changes.
