What are we defending against? If you go 13 Gateway, its puts your warpgate behind your opponents WG tech if they go for a 12 gate by about 15 seconds or so, and if they open 11 or 10 gate first into 4 gate then you won't have warpgate up in time to defend at all. At the very least, with a 12 gate if you see a 4 gate might be coming you can chrono your own WG tech and hold an attack whereas otherwise, this isn't possible. Or I should say very very hard. The brief probe cut is worth the safety in most scenarios. This isn't actually all that accurate. I'd say the difference is pretty negligible unless you're on tal darim. I consistently defend all aggression with a 13 gate every pvp.
Well it depends on the opening, I do 1 gate tech build so I don't do the 3 stalker and my timings are super thin and hard to manage on a 13 gate against a very aggressive 10 gate 4 gate.

Hello Team Liquiders !
I keep hearing that Zealot/Archon is popular again on Korean ladder. So I have decided giving Hight Templars a try. Never been a fan of Colossus to be honest but I have learned the style over time. So now that I’m trying to get fast Templars Archive, I tend to loose a lot of games since I don’t know any timings whatsoever. I’ve tried searching TeamLiquid for HT builds/plays and all of the posts turned out to be outdated and from 2011.
Can you guys point me towards some good pro vods/replays on getting a fast Templars Archive/timings that you use yourself.
Also heard that HT play is better in PvT than going Colossus but requires more skill .How true is that statement ?

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=319339 or http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=308519 for 2base tech, http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=312133 for a nice (but really hard) 3base build.
You can also go into templar off double forge.
The thing with templar play is that it's much more unforgiving as the instant you miss micro you can just die to an emp, but i personally find it more fun; it can also be easier to defend drops as your army is a bit more cost efficient in low numbers when you are trying to set up your third, as storm+feedback really really helps vs drops and it's hard to micro against chargelots on two fronts.

Thank you so much ! Will dig into these builds tomorrow.

I'm not entirely sure of the correct sequence, but the factory could have been accounted for had Nony scouted sooner and seen the gas/multiple marines. Subsequently, knowing this allows you to get a much faster robo safely. I wouldn't doubt that SjoW chose the strat for that map expecting a late scout.
Gonna have to upload a replay to get any more insight.

What is the BO for the one base single collosus 2 immortal 4gate in pvp... that is so hard to say. When do you throw down the robo bay and extra gates?

I wanted to focus on this build aswell. It seems strong and my so favorite blink is not very viable on Daybreak and Entombed valley. This seems to be cool alternative. I would like to ask if anybody dont have another replays with this build (i prefer pro replays).
THanks

Hi played this game http://drop.sc/209424 my plan was to stop the third as much as possible and try and get my third. I think i succeed yet he still manages to roll me with roach Any tips helpful for example if there are problems with my macro or micro.

How do I scout in PvZ before getting hallucination. I obviously need to chrono Immortals out of my robo just to stay alive, and you can't really get hallucination until like the 9-10 minute mark (not sure on the exact timing). It's impossible to get a probe anywhere even remotely close to the zerg main now with the new queens, so I often find myself playing a 'lets just assume he's going roaches' strat, and get completely roflstomped when 12 mutas swoop into my base.

You scout with a probe initially, and you need to check for how many hatcheries your opponent is building, his pool timing, and whether or not he is getting gas before lings/queens keep your probe out of his main base. Then you're kind of in the dark for a while, but you should have enough of an idea to make good decisions over the next couple of minutes until you get some kind of air-based scout going (hallucination/obs/warp prism/pheonix/void ray). Either that, or you do a gateway timing and go see what the zerg is doing with your army while you fight him. But whatever build you do, it needs to incorporate active scouting a from the beginning of the midgame forward. And don't stop scouting after your first couple of passes through his base...keep checking about him every minute so you can see what he's building with his larva and you can actually get a read on what's going on.

Attack upgrades v Armor upgrades in PvT while going colossus versus a Terran doing standard bio play; which do you think is more valuable?

Replay is being processed. Additional information will appear once the processing is complete.
Might want to re-upload it :/

They're almost equally as good when going colossus since they benefit from more weapon upgrades while your gateway units will benefit more from armor upgrades. If I'm going for a single forge and colossus I will usually go +1 armor first but will eventually want to get 2 forges up.

Depends.
Depends how you engage, what other unit's you're getting, what units he is getting, what is your strategy. It's all important to consider. You can:
1 - copy what pro players do and go for armor first
2 - learn how the game works and go for what you need in given situation

Blink stalkers until you can get an observer or hallucination? I always thought blink stalkers were the answer to both honestly (or at least the early answer to delay long enough to tech appropriately)...could be wrong.

How early can you get blink? And can it even be done without cutting immortal/sentry production?
