Why does t start with 11 supply?
Because SCV's has to stay at the building when he's constructing that building.

Wow that's smart--I'll try that out next time I PvZ The response is to expand elsewhere. The zerg can't afford to build lings to take down the gate (which will be cancelled anw) at this point.

Well you can go for 15 pool and then make 4-6 lings and kill pylon/gateway and expand. If you know he is doing FE, then you might take fast 3rd as well.

Attack with some lings put pressure on em. Putting in that much money to stop your expo he shouldn't be able to defend an all-in from the zerg at this point. Even if he cancels he puts himself really behind in the early game. If you were planning on going Hatch first just drop the spawning pool and a gas get ling speed or roaches. Good Luck

( I have seen morrow wait for simultaneous double queen production ) I believe he waits for simultaneous production just because it makes the injection timings line up. I do play zerg from time to time, and it's a lot easier to macro when you don't have 1 queen getting 25 energy 10 seconds after your other queen gets 25. Basically it just makes it so you can hit all of your injects at the same time, every time. An alternative would be to queue up the queens at different times, but don't do the first inject until both are out and then do them at the same time

Optimal (or best) saturation is 16 workers (2 per mineral-patch) and 24 workers (3 per mineral-patch) is absolute max numbers of workers you would ever want on one base. Not counting the obvious 3 workers you want on each gas. 16 workers will mine ~640 minerals per minute any additional worker on that base will mine ~20 minerals per minute, so 24 workers will mine ~800 minerals per minute. Any additional worker after 24 workers will only mine about ~8 minerals per minute.

Pertaining to only mining minerals.

Good Luck Please don't answer questions with blind theory crafting that you don't know the answer to. That doesn't help anyone. "Some lings" can't do anything vs a cannon wall and with 2 cannons he's safe from all types of all ins. Check game 2 of Morrow vs Ace in IEM:

It's worth looking at http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Mining_Minerals and http://sc2calc.org/unit_production/terran.php to help answer questions about mining efficiency and production. To answer the specific question, if you have 24 workers and then expand, then all of your workers will operate at full efficiency as long as both bases have 16 or fewer workers (so, a 16-8 split, or 12-12 split is fine, but a 20-4 split is less efficient). In general, though, if you plan on expanding (and you should!), it's best to keep building workers even if you oversaturate your main, so that you have higher income once the expansion is up.

i start out with quick 2 starport banshee production, and try to kill some queens and also to snipe any spires that are building. then after 3 banshees are out i swap the starport with tech lab for a factory and begin researching blue flame... then hellion harass and finally get out 1 thor. this is all off one base for the most part. would this work do you think? :S

EXAMPLE: Using the 3 Rax build, after sending my first big push en route to the enemies base at ~8:00mins, slightly delaying Barracks production (again not sacrificing SCV production) to throw down my CC.
