The probe will block your hatchery(and he can do shenanigans like putting down a pylon if he sees no pool). This in WoL was solved by taking your third first, and then your natural later, as you'd be taking 3 quick bases anyways. As protoss has added strength to push in the early and midgame in HoTS, taking a quick third is too risky. Thats why most solve this by putting down a pool as soon as they spot the probe, having a couple of lings ready by the time they want to expand, or if the toss scouts late, you can sometimes sneak in a hatch before pool.

Is there a way to set a global hotkey for Stargates, kinda like the W hotkey for warp gates, so that way if I were to press S it would automatically select all my Stargates?

Not a global hotkey, no, but it's easy enough to keep all your stargates on one of your normal hotkeys with Shift+# to add each new stargate to the hotkey group.

1. I am a plat league player, I struggle a lot in TvP mid late/late game. My micro is holding me back. Is there any custom map to practice viking, ghost, bio micro? Or is has to be with other players?
2. Is there any viable timing/pressure/all in build that strikes before the 10-min mark in TvP? It is so unfair that Protoss has so many options early game, DT drops, oracle harras, 4 gate, immortal all-in etc. while T could only do some kind of stim timing, which usually hit at/after 10mins. Damn you photon overcharge.

2.how about 11/11 rax? same build as in tvz. Also DT-drops before 10th minute means that he cut all his units and i doubt that immo all-in are before the 10th. You could still go for 1-base-banshee, hellion-drops or stuff like that.

Because of the existence of MSC, it allows P to skips units and go for insane greedy build while pressuring their opponents. Thats why even they cut units, they can still survive. And the main reason why Dt drops is not popular in WOL.

how viable is cannoning a 15 hatch? (as in like, you should do it every time someone 15 hatches, or you should only do it on certain maps) I've it a few times and it's been pretty effective.

It is very effective, and if you go forge first against their hatch first you don't HAVE to punish them but if you don't you will be a little behind. The vast majority of maps have cannon positions behind the mineral line, just go in a custom game and try to figure them out so you don't fuck up and look like an idiot in the game . Basically, it is very viable and do it.

It does allow them to play greedier as they get a 13 range ~20 damage cannon in the natural whenever they want, and it does mean that DT play is better as you can defend easier. I've seen in the match history of the #1 Barcode Terran on EU that he 11/11s protoss players all the time (and wins) because they play greedy. The thing with hellions (in a drop) and banshees is you can attack one of the bases, they activate nexus cannon, and you then just go to the other base (assuming they FEd) where they don't have nexus cannon, as dropship and banshee can fly. I would suggest mine drops over hellions though to be honest, a stalker or two will most likely be out, and widow mines are just better I think anyway. Hope I helped.

I recommend to check out the protoss help me thread.
