I've noticed alot of pro Terran players have no problem scanning observers in TvP. Are they actively looking for it or is it by chance? When protoss isn't actively scouting with a unit, is that a good sign that he has an observer around my base/army? Or maybe there is a certain timing when there should be an observer over my base?
I feel denying army information helps alot, but I seem to always have an observer over my army when I didn't notice it. Is there an easier way to locate observers or is it really just actively looking for it?
Also, I do have my graphics settings on low, but textures on ultra. I've heard it used to make cloaked units easier to see, but i've also heard that it got patched.

I was searching for that video, where you drone drill through a pylon block on your ramp. There was a thread about it on TL a couple days ago but I seems incapable to find it.
Basically, you right click on the mineral patches behind the pylon and let your drones stack up, after that you attack the pylon. Rince and repeat.

@kenkou, a lot of players notice observers when they slightly reposition their army, because when you move and the observer doesnt (its usually either on follow or just statically there) you will notice the glimmer move over your units. this is the way I use to spot observers and I spot em pretty frequently, obviously if your opponent has a robo you could expect the observer. also you could built a missile turret near your army to deny army info all together. hope this helps
I also have a question, I like to go roach + ling against a protoss that goes zealot stalker sentry immortal (because just roach gets raped by that) and I usually run double evo's, I was just wondering what upgrades I should get, +1 ranged atk and mellee atk ? +1 armor because both benefit from it ? what are your thoughts ?

EDIT: Sorry, I was in a bad mood and wrote something snarky. I spoilered it. + Show Spoiler + Step 0) try your best to remember the thread title. failing that, think of some keywords, in the case, "drone drill" Step 1) type "drone drill" into the search bar that looks like this: Step 2) hit enterStep 3) examine results:http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/search.php?q=drone drill![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/oZkl1.png) Having seen the thread before, I quickly identified the first link as correct. In the future, hopefully my guide will help you and others with search tactics. Here's the link: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=261179

How can I know when to engage and try to push around force fields or play around them? i always end up having my army cut in half and then losing the engagement.
The most important thing is choosing your engagement carefully. The Protoss will always be looking to Force Field you in small chokes or places that will make it expensive to fall back. You want to try to force the engagement somewhere that you can already have a large concave so you'll lose less if they do FF. Be careful chasing the Protoss as well if you know he still has Sentry energy available, as chasing along a map like Xel'Naga for instance can quickly result in your army being seperated.
Finally, if you can protect your Force Fielded units or get them out, that's great, but the important thing is to minimize your losses, wait for a safe opening, and then push again.

i have some odd questions, too lazy to test the game for the answers, maybe somebody knows... -is it possible that PDD intercepts the bouncing attack from muta? (like the projectile was launched outside of the range, and then bounced into it?) -does emp uncloak units affected by the mothership? for how long then? (fungal does reveal i assume) -does emp do anything to changelings/hallucinations (i know it doesn't reveal creep tumors) -if you lift a cloaked unit with phoenix, and then detection expires (e.g. observer is killed), will phoenix release the target (or will it hold it but it'll be untargetable? =))

Why is Terran so hard to play? I can play Protoss and Zerg easily ( Gold level with both ) but when I try to play Terran I just fall apart, no macro whatsoever. I kinda want to switch to Terran since I'm a bit bored with Z&P but my terribleness is not letting me.

I just wonder, is there actually any "pure" SC2 progamer? by "pure" I mean, someone who has not played BW or WC3 at ALL, so SC2 would be his/her first RTS ever....

The only "Progamer" I know of that was like that was Painuser, but he isn't really a progamer now anyway.

I have a question about warp prism: Do units in warp prism with energy (e.g HT's and sentries) recharge energy inside warp prism?
|
is it better to attack interceptors or directly the carrier with some muta ?

Addendum: these units are also shielded from EMP inside the warp prism.

i see zerg and terran do spread drops, like the medivac keeps going as they drop the marines in a line, how do you do this as protoss?

Same as with them. Take your drop ship, use the "unload all" command, and instead of selecting a location on the ground, have your dropship "unload all" onto itself. This will cause it to do a flying unload.
It can also be queued up as a command or done when the dropship is already in motion without interrupting whatever it's doing.

press d and click on the warp prism instead of on the ground and it will drop units as it moves

I'm not sure how you expect someone to answer this. Maybe if you describe specific problems you have with playing terran we can help.

I believe if u press d and click then ground followed by spamming move it should drop a single unit. Similar as stutter stepping.
