Just pressing 1234 won't give much, but if you're aware of what you're doing, you will feel your limit quickly... in the early game, you can reset your worker waypoint, while doing worker micro, while also jumping between your main and nat saved locations (if you use base locations, which you should), maybe ctrl-grouping some workers. Yeah, the actions are useless (except for the worker micro), but there's thought behind it, it trains your speed and accuracy and warms you up. It helps a TON. As long as you're in a "now I do this (do it), now I do this (do it)" state, it will train you for the speed needed later. | ||

Some units got removed, some actions went obsolete, yet the guide ain't no misleading anyway. Extremely solid piece of art. This is what I want to pay for and not skins for zerglings. I share the low APM issue but my cause is way more simple than yours. I am just incredibly sluggish + stupid because I got brain damage upon excessive hitting my head with various stuff such as foes' fists and concrete walls. Safety first! I hope you are still alive and succeeding even if you dropped StarCraft for whatever reason (any is valid). My 2 cents will also be put here. Being stunted is the reason you wanna know your opponent better than just scouting the map, searching for their crucial sturctures such as Dark Shrine, Ghost Academy, Reactors, and Baneling Nest which are decisive in what they are up to, and clicking their extractors/assimilators/refineries to learn how gassy their build is. You'd better watch their latest replays so you better know their playing style, formation, accent, weak points and the exact timings where they become too macro to be contained considering your weak hands/poor vision/low IQ/nervous system failure/whatever preventing you from being fast. This is the invaluable resource not only because you will be ready for the opponent's actions, you also will possibly learn on some yet-unknown tricks with units you'd love to consider or even use on your own if you end up understanding you're capable of gaining benefit from such actions. P.S. My brain damage prevents me from repeating my build flawlessly game to game so it's always forced improvisation. I spent the whole month trying to remember when and what but always end up making some unusual actions just because I failed to remember what comes next. This also results in lowering my APM since I'm stalling trying to come up with an idea what to do next in this yet again unusual scenario. So I made the yet proving soild decision of writing what to do if I accidentally couldn't stick to the original plan so these no-surprise surprises become just different builds and not guaranteed loss generators. I'm a casual gamer to say the least. Only play custom 1v1, 2v2, or party vs A.I. to have fun, never go ladder, it's just my minor itch which made me wanna improve my SCII level as it helps going through my overall depression and repels further intellectual degradation. Maybe I could be a pro but when you start playing seriously at 28 at the same moment being an RPG and TBS gamer all along... Even the healthy ones find it nearly (or totally) impossible to do so. Not to mention dumb me. P.P.S. I hope I don't get banned upon bumping that. This guide made me register, this is my very first post here. | ||
