Pretty sure you basically put a pylon then a forge, gate, and cyber (or pylon+zealot) to wall it between the ramp and the highground pod.
Also you don't need the absolute highest level to figure out if a map has good gameplay. I think most can be theorycrafted for lack of a better word, by using just general principles. Just look at the features and figure out what strategies, army movement, playstyles, etc. it encourages. Balance is the only thing that is left to the highest level of play.
