Thanks Zain3, OBS worked better (or .... at least I can do more than 10 min at a time).



First VOD is up! Not too pleased with it. It lags a bit and has a stuttering commentator... but I will get better with more experience. I did not know I sounded so Norwegian ...

Please post some feedback if you watch it, I want to improve. I already know the VOD lags and that I need to speak in more complete sentences but if you find something apart from that, it would be nice to let me know. Also, send me good reps

Thanks! You voice sounds great man, the "ahhhs" and "umms" are only natural - they go away with practice imo.

Only bad issue with the VOD is stuttering vid playback, not the commentating. It must be a consequence of the method you are using to record? Because I've seen this in other VODs posted here and they had the same issue (almost unwatchable low framerate).

Please keep them coming though, I am always interested in seeing the progress of this mod.


If its not fun I dont want it.

Yeah! More starbow games! The more games up the better.

What you can do is use either obs as already recommended, or xsplit free (I use this because OBS crashes my computer to a blue screen still). Set your computer and game resolution to 1280 x 720 for smoother recording, and because youtube will downsize your video no matter what.

As for me, its been extremely busy. Have barely had time to play a few games.

More rant on the corrupter:
I feel zerg has very little real ways of dealing with toss air. This is especially true now that crossairs can lift units and I also feel scourge are harder to hit in Starbow than they were in BW. Hydras are not enough anymore, you need a LOT of hydras becuase of the lift ability. Crossairs used to not be able to tuch hydras, now they can kill and outmanouver them. Ofc, if you have a big army of hydras there is very little crossairs can do, but then you have forced zerg down a path that might not be too desirable.

I suggest to make the corruptor more like SC2, in other words, lair tech. Maybe even let the corruptor be the unit that evolves into broodlords so they don't become dead weight if hte oppondents air is destroyed.

This might not be the way to go, but the current corruptor needs some form of rework.

... and where is everybody??? Feels like some important holiday might be upon us or something......

I agree with Corsairs being (potentially) too strong against Zerg early on, though I haven't personally played that match up (too much. From watching (and playing one game versus Corsair into Carrier), it feels really safe and really powerful.

Was online today, but barely anyone was in the channel, so I went back to duo-queue with my friend in LoL ^^

i think its just me but there seems to be much less players on starbow recently on NA server, i guess its because i usually get on SO late for NA times, but sometimes players like trace, scal & co. are online, but recently almost noone which is saddening for me

Hello everyone. I have not been online for a while now due to a ton of stuff to do. During the holidays I will barely be able to be online either. : /

But I will squeeze in some hours at the editor. The next patch will contain:

- Fixed Reaver (Thanks XiA!)
- Fixed Corsair & Vulture moving shot (Hopefully)
- The new Protoss caster
- Protoss air unit
- Fixed Corruptor
- balance adjustments

As I´ve said earlier, I plan to get this completed around new year - all content in the game shall be set. Balance will not be completed though. Stats must be fixed. Maybe some spells/upgrades later on proves to be broken and must be balanced - shall Nerve jammer affect all units or just enemy units? etc

Btw, for those of you who have played recently, any critical balance concerns to share?

A solution for hydra:
range research +1 require lair
but this not enough. Increase speed Hydra is useless. Therefore propose to add the effects of the slowing down concusive (marauder weapon). But only affects light units

How sad not to add the Nullifier. Units by the great potential in micro. Passive attak and personal shield (shield is null or not null field), are very good, and are the basis of this unit.

Well.... if corruptors and viking/goliath gets a fix, do we need to do something with the carrier as well?

When it comes to hydra. Range and Speed are hatch tech upgrades and move hp upgrade to lair (like it is now because of bug...)

Hydra mainly should not have upgrades of life. I have suggested that the search for the hydra range, require lair. Speed ​​should not require lair.
