edit: made it to 13 sling/stim using stim + move, stop to shoot, reselect marines except for 1-3, repeat 2-3x, and then split so banelings never hit more than 2 while stutter stepping the back-most group. The way the AI works you should remove "connectors" because it tries to shove blings between groups, from there you have to split the largest groups / groups that banelings are near. Vs real players you'd pretty much do the same, but focus a tad more on only leaving 1-2 behind at first in case they a-move. edit2: I had 240-260 (340-364 real) in-game apm with out spamming clicks, I have all default settings. It took me 20 mins in-game time to hit level 13 on my second time playing. ~9 mins to hit 12. I tried a lot of different techniques and a few seem "even" in this map, but some would be far more effective in a real game (p click is not ideal vs real players imo.) I was debating switching to T from Z and this might have sealed the deal. | ||
