I like the enlarging of the central structure, however if memory serves it always felt like the dragoon was "longer than wider" (from the perspective of the game of course). The legs as well. Maybe that's why they look a bit strange when they are symmetrical and "have a square footprint" so to speak (visually, not literally the footprint they have in the game). Perhaps make the smae change you did to the body or a tiny more, but only in the vertical direction?

That one in your picture to the farthest top-right looks the most "stand still standard BW"-ish I'd say (his stance), but the legs still look a little too long. I can see why people would think they look spindly and spider-like lol. New ones def look better but could still be improved. Shorten the legs a tad? Or rather, shorten the "thigh" of the legs perhaps? It feels like the SC2BW version has equal length "thigh" and "leg" sections connected at the knee, where the BW version looks like it has a stubby thigh connecting to the body and longer, straighter "legs".

yea the goons in the cutscenes looked really weird i dont think they are how anyone imagined them from the sprite ingame.

The cutscene version is probably more accurate, as they had more pixels to translate from concept art.
the real question would be how they got the sprite from that concept.

wouldnt it be better if just all of you guys transfered to BW again ?

It's a challenge in and of itself, it's fun to recreate!
