Yes it does , you have to select 1 overlord in your group of mutas and you can micro them. However it won't work if you are not in hardcore mode and have more than 12 mutas in your control group ( it would be too imba ^^).

dont have to be on hardcore to stack mutas
will work irregardless. you just have to not select more than 12.

It's what I wanted to say : if you are not on hardcore and have more than 12 units in your control group mutas won't stack. But it was uselessly confusing because if you have more than 12 units in your control group you're obviously not in hardcore mod, so my bad ^^.
