Usually yeah. It's a rare good player who can't adapt fairly quickly to playing the counter-matchup of a matchup he plays. Learning counter-matchups also helps to learn the matchups you focus on.

GG. First of all a reminder that stim lasts 10 seconds and medics don't have infinite energy. There were many times when men were over stimmed and medics weren't even there or they ran out of energy quickly and couldn't heal.
Also why do zergs love to waste all their mins on pure ultras after they out expo terran? Good job to the zerg for figuring out a good strat ( hydras/defiler/lurker ), but this was after giving up his econ advantage by throwing ultras after ultras at 50 vessels. Maybe he forgot ultras don't have anti air where as hydras do. When people get tons of money they always want to spend it as fast as possible which usually doens't work. That's another reason starcraft is a great game. Big bang strategies usually don't work.
Nice use of bunkers and nice expoing by terran in late game.

It's weird, because I can tvz and zvt, both fairly well, comparatively speaking. But zvp pvz just works nothing like that for me, whereas a friend of mine who's zerg who's about my level can pvz really well, but he absolutely cannot tvz. I guess everyone's just different. Let's see a midian pvz gogo!

PvZ requires skill in just about every category of the game, but mostly, creativity, an element that is often left out in ZvP :X TvZ requires crtiical timing, and that is often gained from playing Zvt, and analysis becomes 2nd hand nature.

I agree that besides plague, z really coulda used earlier hydra instead of ultra. He was short on gas at the time too, woulda made a LOT more sense to mass hydras and then have them hit the vessels under swarm!

omg, nice improvised game xddd

from my experience, zvp players completely SUCK at PvZ(hi kaaz ^.^) , and PvZ players play ZvP pretty well

Midian got like 1011023045123567 barracks O.O. Very awesome game.

These games sort of annoy me. Nothing against people having fun, but it's like those rek elky games. I don't think they're staged, but it always seems there's an implicit agreement to play around and let the other guy live. No killer instict, you know?
Edit: Still, they're a guilty pleasure like those ygclan 200 arbiters vs. 60 goliath ^_^

not a bad game, Vessels are tough, plague would have helped alot, but it may not have turned the game.

I've heard of macro terrans but this is rediculous. If I've ever seen somebody pump scvs like that before I don't remember it. Midian devoured the map's resources and kept his minerals relatively low.
I love seeing players with excellent macro + multi task + micro play their off races because they play a lot less traditionally. Very interesting style on Midian's part. Gj Midian ^_^ I'd like to see more
