I think people love the horses out of nostalgia, and also to an extent because they haven't seen a great alternative.

Maybe if there was a contest to redesign the logo and there were some great graphics designed the results of the poll might change. Not saying there has to be a winner or even if something awesome showed up people still might not want to change.

As of right now the choices are really "the status quo" or "some unknown entity." People are going to take what they know over the unknown most of the time even if the unknown is vastly superior.

I'm used to it and now love them but I remember when I first visited the site I was thinking "what the hell is this?"

Partly this was due to the seemingly extremely cluttered layout with threads, links, calendars, etc everywhere. That went away ofc once I got used to where everything is though.

Still might be jarring to new users lol

imho you could get rid of the horses or just "Upgrade" them and with that upgrade if you could upgrade the website CSS that would be good too

New layout would be great since this one is getting old fashioned (but it works so be carefull if / when u change it).

I always wondered what the hell did horses had to do with this but i guess you found a picture that has little ponys splashing on water giving it the "liquid" effect.. but thats kind of a fail.

There could've been option "what's horse banner?". I've visited site many hundred times and never noticed it. Obviously I'm not much into observing stuff I don't care about. So, ofc picked "dont care, whatever". I don't see why any banner should be changed because old one has been there too long. If it's good, it's good.

I would never change it. The question sounds a bit as if people would not want to jump on TL with SC2 because of old design. If SC2 players feel they are something better and need colourful pewpew laser aimations everywhere its ok but TL should not build a basis for such people imo.

I think the pony is awesome, the banner is awesome. I'd hate to see either change. I prefer the older tshirt design to the newer one as well. More cute and homely, like TL.

The horses should stay, they've been there since the beginning.
I voted for the unique vote, since that really is what i think they do.

However, if you really want to change it, perhaps something else could be added (the the banner, or somewhere else) to make it more visual that this is the sc community to be at. It's not necessary though.

I think the banner is great but the site could do with a fresh cssing. Perhaps to change the rest of the site to be more in line with the TLPD/VOD sections since they look quite good.

I just had a poke around with the web developer addon for firefox to see how easy it would be and ewww tables for layout lol, that will be a fun job indeed ;p

Excusable though since TL is quite old now and the current design has stood the test of time better than other websites.
