Battle.net 2.0 is fine overall but what's really making it useless is the lack of any kinds of chatrooms or cross-realm play.
Do you like the direction B.net 2.0 is taking? - Page 3

i think the 2 major problems i guess is Cross realm play and chat rooms... Chat channels: they already said they have something cooking for that, which is better than the wc3 and sc1 channels Crossrealm: they have said its a long term goal " which means they are aware of it "... and to be honest i really think their gonna fix it quite fast, since its crazy, and im sure they see it aswell. so thats 2 of the major problems which will be fixed over time. After all sc1 wasnt perfect either at release ^^

Ladder matches are not that bad. Overall ranking is useless considering there are a lot of people playing Starcraft 2. It's a lot more competitive if you don't really know if you are the best or not. I like the direction battlenet 2.0 is going. There are a lot of bugs right now, but they will eventually be fixed

And regarding competition, how are we going to play world wide tournaments ? Buy one of each client, for each expension ? I love the post Kennigit made about Tamagochi TSL episode 10 haha.

LAN is a great feature to have in any RTS game. I remember playing LAN with lots of friends during school time on w3 and sc1. Good times that apparently will not continue. And why remove cross-region as well? All the features that made blizzard games wonderful are being removed.

Auto matchmaking and portraits were in b-net 1.0... (wc3) Other than that I can't think of anything I am remotely satisfied with. Correct me if I am wrong, but the only 'new' feature so far in beta seems to be unit decals... lol OH I know. SC2 doesn't kick me in the nutsack when I log in. +1 for blizzard
