You had to read that terrible article before voting in the first poll, whereas the TL poll can be voted in by people who know nothing about that article.

I have no idea how often people on iCCup change their name but if blizzard brings back the old names with identifiers (this email era was just to test out that facebook thingie) then you can't just start whispering someone cause you know their name. The subject of LAN has been discussed thoroughly and while I agree that no LAN will in fact hinder some people it won't effect most. (This is from my viewpoint in soutehrn sweden. I have decent connection and I don't know a single person who doesn't, even at lans my friends almost never use LAN unless the game is pirated. But it might very well be different from where you are so maybe that problem is broader then I would imagine.) I ask you again don't just write what is not important to you write why you like it. Just because you don't need lan/offline makes you think that it is good that there is no lan/offline mode in sc2? Just because you don't want to chat with other players makes you think it is good that there is no possibility to do it?Would 1 little chat button annoy you that much? It's not about what you need or don't need these are things that have been in other games and no longer are in sc2 for no reason but profit. Please just name some things that are better now than they were in sc or wc3 because for me it just seems like some people did not vote for the new b.net but against some posts.

If there were a choice between Bnet 2.0 and the SCBW / Wc3 I'd go with scbw / wc3 bnet without blinking.

User was warned for this post Talking to random strangers who have a common interest (like, Star Craft) is one of the best ways to make friends. Once you get past 8th grade, this will start to become more apparent. You'll also start to realize that "you have no friends" isn't really an effective way to intimidate adults. Only middle schoolers and horribly insecure adults worry about how many friends they have. Most of us are more worried about finding time for the friends that we already have than whether our friends list is long enough. That's why it's so cool when you can get social interaction in a relaxed setting like a bar or a public chat room, because that can fit however much time you have. Nice first post though. I don't expect to see a third one from you, given your charming demeanor. That's probably why you're so obsessed with having a lot of friends. Grass is always greener, etc.

But my least favorite part is the loading of each map before the games. But this might be SC2-only as well. I don't know, but it is annoying. It should be a bit more like in Bnet 1 where everyone downloads the map, then the game begins. Blizzard better make the new and improved "Battle Net 2.0" effective with updates, maybe Battle Net 2.5 is the answer, noone knows.
