Exactly. Every european who's paid anything with dollars recently knows one euro is way more than one dollar, and still Blizzard and several businesses choose to use their own 1$=1€ conversion. 20 dollars is like 15 euro. Shipping is standard, but the price difference just reflects arrogant business. I know Razer is setting the price, but you could at least inform them that customers are choking on their cokes.

I don't know whether the extra price is because of shipping. I mean they apparently sell them to switzerland for 20$, while all the country around it need to pay 26$ (basically 31% more).

Cool...
BUT.
Wasn't it like 6 months ago you guys promised us a EU-store?... Might be a good time to make that happen now before christmas... I for one would buy a lot of your products, but that shipping cost + the hope you have given us of a EU-store has just made me wanna wait...

Aaaaaaaaaaand bought
Merry Christmas to me, from me.

If prices exclude taxes and shipping why the hell is the AU price so damn high!
EDIT: I realise that it's not TL that sets the price and that it's Razer
User was warned for this post EDIT2: Fixed: Don't post images kids - You get a shiny red warning

was really interested in one but then the shipping hit me:3

Just a couple of words on the shipping. The matter deserves more attention, and I think we should explain in detail how everything works from our end when we launch the EU store. In the case with the Mousepads I will say that these are actually way heavier than a shirt and we get charged for shipping based on weight. Also every distributor charges additional fees for handling and packing the orders. As of right now these costs for us are actually lower compared to the fees we would've been charged if we worked with amazon. We are just a small shop guys, only way to lower the shipping charges is to subsidize it by bumping up the prices of our products, or to grow and get better deals from the distributors.
The handling and packing charges of our EU distributor are actually higher than the ones of our US distributor, which is only natural because every service in Europe is more expensive, but at the end for you it will be well worth it cause the postage itself is cheaper, faster and more reliable. And no more duty taxes and problems with customs.

What a cute way to say "buy more things" <3

But if you don't like Team MVP, do you still have to buy one?

690 NT. It's about $23 USD.

outstanding, £17.99 = $28.99USD. Glad to see we're getting fair representation, even before the $15USD shipping charge. That's £28 for a mouse mat.
Jesus christ.
edit: (i sympathise with australians out there)

20 euros doesn't get you much farther than 20 dollars, maybe an extra Big Mac from mcdonalds. If you want it i doubt the 5$ is going to kill you.I see no need to complain about it everytime TL puts something new in the store.
They (Razer) also make more from doing it like this. Dont think its going to change unless they lose money.

Those are the same people that buy 1000 dollar wires so that there sound is better, even though it makes minimal difference. Same thing here, a color on your fucking mousemat is not going to effect your play.

What the fuck, our dollar is stronger and we have to pay $15 more?

Imagine you live in a town with the one shop (In this case; Razer). You and a mate want to buy something from the shop, your mate lives next door to it and you live on the outskirts of the town. It's reasonable to assume that shipping costs would be higher for you as you live further away, but you find out that the shop also adds close to 50% of the pre-shipping price onto your bill for no real reason apart from the fact that you live further away.
Would you not say anything? The reason people complain is purely principle, the actual cost is irrelevant.
