As a Zerg player, I find myself in a strange situation, actually rooting for Oz here. eSports needs a new Protoss torchbearer and while I'm not entirely convinced Oz is the Next Big Thing, one more guaranteed P in code S can only be a good thing. FXO fighting!

For the first time in six months the Code A finals will be decided in a non-mirror match. The icing on top: neither race is Terran! Can't really go wrong with TvZ. Hell, over half of the defining matches of our game are TvZ. is totally contradictory.

If you look at Curious's ZvP record, it stands at 16-10, which is pretty good, all things considered. Additionally, his last two PvZ's have been losses, according to TL's Player Directory (which I'm assuming is accurate). Then look at Oz's PvZ record. 5-0. Granted, I haven't seen Curious's play recently, and I could be absolutely and completely wrong and Curious would win 4-0, but I'm saying Oz to take this out 4-1. First, I want to talk about Curious' slightly related GSTL success. He was a total badass in the GSTL and there's just no way that doesn't rub off somehow when he's competing in individual leagues. Curious is the number one threat to everyone sitting in those cushy Terran chairs during the drawing next month. To be honest, GSTL doesn't necessarily reflect success in the individual league. Obviously, not every player who succeeds in GSTL DOESN'T do well in the individual league. And yes, I'm only using one example here. But DongRaeGu dominated the team league for a long time, yet he only managed to receive an entry into Code S only recently (and I do believe he deserved it for a long time, he just wasn't able to pass through the Code B preliminaries). In other parts, I would like the write-up to include the path that each player had taken to reach the Code A finals. Yes, it'll be a bit longer, but this article is slightly too short... then again, the writer may have had real life obligations and had to churn out an article in thirty minutes (I know that feel bro). Regardless, thank you for writing up a preview, and I hope I don't get bashed for this post :S

Well... don't want to "bash" for this but it seems like you are making a prediction based off of their records, and even admitted to not watching Curious. Curious's play has been fearsome recently, and if you noted who they played in their respective matches, you would notice that Curious has beaten some much stronger opponents.

You can't just expect something great for free, any and all work should be appreciated ![]()
