They really need some sort of system for LAN play, they can't be doing this at all, at any time. Even in Korea, they had that disconnect in the GSL world vs Korea series, and their internet is amazing. North America's internet isn't even close to that level, so NA tournaments will always have problems. I was thinking about this, and was wondering if this would be a solution: portable servers. Instead of creating a separate SC2 version without B.net, buy some smaller servers, put B.net on them, and actually bring them to the separate major events. I'm sure their main servers are millions of dollars, but how much would it be for a server that only needs to handle less than 300 people? How much would it cost to bring it to these events and set them up, and have the computers connect to the server directly? I'm no server management guru, so I'm honestly interested in knowing if that would even be feasible.

I'm really wondering if they'll be able to finish the tournament. It's already hours behind schedule.
