Although I'm not surprised that they all stopped playing and following SCBW I am a little saddened by it.

This was fantastic. Thank you for taking the time to put this together.

It's great to see such a collective agreement for the implication of chat channels.

Excellent interview. It feels good to know that people so high in the SC2 community are fighting for the same things we commoners are fighting for.

I was surprised to learn that Artosis is the only well-known American player on the panel who can write intelligently.

While they disagreed on a variety of game issues, I think everyone can agree that WE NEED CHAT CHANNELS.

Incontrol hit it right on the head when he said:
No channels? WHY? WHY? What reason could you POSSIBLY give for not wanting paid customers to be able to communicate randomly and en masse? WHAT POSSIBLE REASON?

Because they'd rather you met each other via the Facebook link in-game, which will also lead you to their new casual gaming ventures they're getting into.

Incontrol: I am pretty happy with the most recent patch. I think the range decrease on the VoIdrAy is tremendously fair.

I felt this to be very informative : )

Machine: Like I have mentioned before I believe Siege tank Thor Viking is very hard for zerg to deal with at the moment, and I have also noticed that it is very hard for terran's to deal with void ray's even after the range nerf (-1 range LOL)

Incontrol: Nope. I used to bitch about Broodlords but they frankly are just like several things found in broodwar. It used to be that if you allowed a terran to get maxed on 3-4 bases while going mech on Hearbreak or Destination or something you were completely screwed ZvT. The same kind of scenarios apply in SC2.. Broodlords are expensive and situational, if you allow them to get there you usually have yourself to blame. The closest to "unbeatable" or problematic imo is ZvP in general. Zerg needs to win 1 conflict to have full control of the game. I believe it stems from the inject larvae where a zerg can simply reload and punish the slightest mistake too fast and too heavily. Perhaps changing injection to +3 larvae or something will help in that regard.

IdrA: Turtle mech + vikings and ravens vs zerg is unbeatable on most maps if executed correctly.

LzGamer: If there are Unbeatable or overpowered strategies I have not seen them.

Artosis: Yeah, absolutely. Well-played Terran mech against Zerg, as well as a well done Banshee/Tank/Marine allin are both pretty much unbeatable for Zerg. There is also a timing where Protoss can move out with a ball of units that Zerg just can't seem to be able to stop. For examples of this just look at IdrA vs White-Ra and IdrA vs Tester from the most recent big tournament finals. I can't speak on TvP strategies at the moment.

Jinro: (cont'd from previous) I'd say there are no unbeatable strategies, tho there are probably a few that are currently stronger than they should be, especially on the current map pool (i.e mech on steppes of war).

I really did rofl at this bit. Everyone says something along the lines of "ZvT is extremely difficult for zerg", and the Terran just goes ahead and says that there no OP strategies.

Im not a terran or zerg though, so i can't comment, just found it funny.

I actually said that there's no UNBEATABLE strategies, but that there are overpowered builds (i.e mech on a map like steppes of war).

The almost starleague esque tourneys we already see in China/Korea.. did you guys see that stage Artosis/IdrA/tasteless played on?

What event was this? I must have missed something along the way in beta.

Stars War in China.

What pisses me off the most is how they went on about Bnet2.0 being revolutionary. It's not revolutionary, it's worse than 1.0.

I don't get it, at all, where did you get the gall to say Bnet2.0 was revolutionary? I hope it was just hype, you spewing rainbows over it even though you knew it was shit, because if any of you people at Blizzard actually thought we'd be impressed, you're naive to the point of mental retardation.

The game itself is great, but big fucking props on fucking up Bnet.
Excuse me hun, but what is your name? Vivian? I woke up next to you naked and, uh, did we, um?

They haven't released a response since that travesty of an interview with Frank Pearce, have they? I have to know if they're really not going to include chat channels or if that dildo Frank Pearce just didn't know what he was talking about.

It's a shame that Blizzard doesn't realize what a huge mistake they're making and how easy it would be to fix it.

Thanks for little interviews. Nice to see what the high level players have to say about these things.

Critiques are interesting when they contain personality and opinion. Props to Idra. I could care less how much I end up agreeing with him on this or that, I'm just glad he's around to stir the pot.
