warpgates makes macro easier? lol wtf is this shit. warpgates make macro harder.... try making units out of gateways/barracks, then try out of warpgates. It is quite obvious which is much harder to do imo and in my experience.

LZ and typical terran not able to admit there's a problem/imbalance with their race. Yeah roaches were OP for a long time, now they're acceptable in your eyes that you can just go mech and have no problems with zerg. There really is no reason a 200/200 zerg army with stored larva and bank minerals can't break a 120/200 terran mech army, that's just criminal.

I find it funny they want us to goble that SC2 might beat BW as a spectator sport just since they have a small chance of beating the koreans at this game

Really nice commentaries. Maybe all these questions should have been asked after the beta ends, but it still makes it very interesting to read opinions of higher tier players than myself.

Thing is I totally agree with all of them, obviously Machine's and Lz's comments about zerg changes make me agree even more since I'm a zerg player as well.

With all the old bm and bullshit IdrA associated for me, these comments made me like him even more. Straight on the point.

I really feel like they overdid it with Roach. Roach needs 3 upgrades as of now to be completely effective and marauder can go even without stim and concussion. And the costs are ridiculously different with the ridiculously different effectiveness. All of this is said because even protoss doesn't go too well, maybe even worse, against marauders with support and marauders are tier1. Nothing can stop them propely from other races on tier1. (It doesn't mean I lose to marauders all the time, but I've been playing all 3 races on purpose and I feel that when I play terran it's easy-mode ground army wise for me and totally imba on tier1 - slow/stim + micro = gg).

Ultralisks are still useless for me. Frenzy spell is plain lol if I might say so since I don't even feel it deserves any serious description, a spot filler.

Overall I feel Protoss is the most balanced with some issues, nothing feels truly weak or extremely strong. Proper use constitutes worth/effectiveness, feels as good/similar as in BW. Zerg is in the middle with some units being nerfed and even useless (everyone knows which those are by now) and Terran being the most peaky balance wise (usually with peaks over what I would call balance point of equilibrium). With tank damage nerf one peak fell down for me, not sure how it's gonna show itself yet.

In case anyone from developers read the forums an happen to read the mortal comments as well I could summarize zerg units (things I don't mention - I agree with):

Zergling - too weak on damage dealing;
Roach - too much supply with the effectiveness nerfs and required upgrades;
Hydralisk - too slow, even bulky;
Infestor - frenzy?
Ultra - starting to forget there is such a unit (no sarcasm or exaggeration);
Mutalisk - great, really love it;
Corruptor - overall balanced + dmg bonus is somewhat useful;
Queen - great as well, balanced and effective with proper use;
Broodlord - serves their function;
