Ahh ok, I was just confused because when you announced you were going to post the clues soon the new game would follow. I inferred (incorrectly) that meant like an hour or so after clues the next game would begin. I guess I'm just impatiant.

This game introduced so many new people to start posting on team liquid. If for nothing else it has help make the community large (a good thing). Actually about a good 20% of my posts are in this thread.

I actually like tracil's way. The major differences to me are not the low number of mafia/town ratio, but rather the lack of clues. I mean reading clues screwed up the town more than it helped, this may be because of bad townies,good mafia, or clues that could lead to more than one person (Dr.dragoon for instance.) While tracil's way is to find people by their words and actions which in turn requires posting. I prefer reading posts and votes and trying to trace those back than deciphering clues in which I could be wrong, but convince myself I'm right. (Because of red herrings, the kicking example provided by chuiu led me partly to vigilante kill chicken~ cause I associated chickens to kicking).

One could make the argument I could misinterpret posts, but that's find and part of the game and I can compare all their posts and votes and eventually (hopefully) figure out their townie/mafiahood. Where as I do not not the bases behind dapperdan's or chuiu's clues.

Both ways have their faults, and both have advantages. Stop the hate and share the love guys.

I don't know, in 8 pages of tracil's game I managed to get 7 people to believe I was mafia. In a game of 30 that's a decent amount considering they had nothing to go on except my actions. (they were all wrong though, but many of them changed their opinions after several lengthy posts from me, but thats irrelevent)

My point is that you can form opinions very easily from a few posts, and that drives the game cause usually they are wrong at first. Then people are like your the first person to vote bum he's townie YOUR mafia!!! It goes on like that for a couple days before night actions and such start playing a noticeable pattern.

Mafia AND Werewolf that's awesome. Let's throw in some Aliens and we can have a crazy 20v20v20v20 going ^^.... although I guess the lynching system won' really work. Although Mafia, werewolf, and human might work.
