Yes, he did change his vote, but as he already said, he didn't know the vote count at that time, since it's terrible finding something like this if there's like 10 posts per minute and you're on a phone. Scumslips don't happen, don't try to force them
But as I already pointed out, he DID know the vote count.
Here is a post from BH:

And here is the vote count at the same time:

Currently, LightningStrike is set to be lynched. Day 1 ends in at 22:00 GMT (+00:00).

TWO HOURS. Let me spell that out for you again; I wasn't leading in votes for TWO ENTIRE HOURS.
And the excuse from batsnacks:
On November 05 2014 07:36 batsnacks wrote: I post from phone, I didn't know what the vote count was, I switched it to you because I assumed incorrectly that you still had the most.
So he's claiming that he didn't realize the votes had changes in TWO FULL HOURS, even though he was posting in the thread the entire time and even changes his own vote multiple times in that two hours. And you're defending him?
Scum all the fucking way, good game.

I have to leave soon and I won't be back for EoN, so I'll leave you guys some wisdom:
Kelsier is a huge fucking question mark that needs to be answered. If it comes down to MYLO or LYLO (especially final 3), he's going to be in it, and he will have to be lynched at that point in time. In the next two days, you either have to lynch him or be ride or die with him.
Grack is someone who has felt townie to me, but I haven't felt any kind of agenda coming from him. I don't feel like he's hunting for scum (seems reactive), and it wouldn't surprise me if he's actually scum here. Keep an eye on him.
Keep Immaterial to this promise:
On November 05 2014 05:45 Immaterial wrote: ##vote LightningStrikes
Insanely busy at work, I have to vote without catching up on the thread at all. I promise to justify the vote tonight, but I'll be here ntil late
Serejai probably not scum.
Hadn't felt Breshke's presence during EoD1, he's no longer top town. Also kept vote on LS. Keep an eye on him as well.
Rest of my scum reads were all directly involved in lynching cop: Sentinel, Kelsier & FecalFeast. Probably at least 2/3 scum in here. If any remaining scum, probably in Grack/Immaterial/Breshke/Bats (in that order).
Tomorrow you should probably lynch between Kelsier/Sentinel, followed by the other one on the day after, unless we get info from a watcher or a medic save.

I feel like if they are town thats good for us and we have a higher chance of winning. There is a world where they made some crazy play to get the cop out that turn because there was a 50% chance theres a watcher if they believed he was a cop. But the way it went down I think its very very unlikely. If we dont find scum in a few days maybe you go for keisha but for now I think the higher percentage play is to vote from the people who voted out LS.
I do have you as scum but from the people I listed your probably at the bottom because you at least moved your vote (although poorly) and made an excuse I dont totally believe. I would not vote you out tomorrow over quite a few others.

Sera you were second in votes at the time so bats probably thought if he switched then you would be the lynch instead.
actually makes sense if you believe his phone story.

but I don't believe his story that he didn't know the votes had changed, he was pretty active in the thread and didn't lots of people voting on imma.
I think bats is better than that.

I can't believe anyone thinks it's my fault lightning got lynched. Why would I move my vote at all if not to save the uncced cop?
|
But I wasn't even second in votes; I only had a single vote on me for the last hour - Elvis.
Lightning was leading with Sentinel in second the entire time, until a few votes went on Immaterial to put him in second.
Here are some timestamps:

So, at 6:06 I had one vote on me all the way until the end. batsnacks later changes his vote to me a minute before the voting. Between 6:06 and 6:59 - when I had basically no chance of being lynched - there were a total of 8 vote updates posted in the thread. Surely he saw at least ONE of those, in which case he would have known that either Sentinel or Immaterial were the other possible lynch choices.
I mean, I was using my phone as well but you didn't see me having any trouble keeping up with the thread. He knew damn well the votes had changed since I was last in the lead (two hours before EoD).
So, there are really two outcomes here; either batsnacks is scum or he's just a really terrible player. Who thinks it's the latter?
|
I think the latter, but not racist of anything you said.
|
*** but not because of anything you said
LOL

I don't even know about the batsnacks voting dilemma anymore. Like I know it's difficult to keep up with a phone and I know stuff was really chaotic at the time with votes being thrown around. I don't really think he's to blame for LS dieing since there were a lot of people who could have turned things, not only him, while some people like me didn't even have the same grasp of LS having to be saved at the time, since everyone was going ham.
I like that people are trying to figure out who new scum teams are tho, but so far it's only wild speculation. Will join in on all of this later when I have more time, gotta do some uni-work now. This will likely not be much before EoN.
|
It really boggles the mind though. Why would I unvote lightning if not to save him? There is zero scum motivation in switching my vote off of the uncced cop and onto one of my scum reads who I thought (incorrectly) still had votes on them.
|
Like if jasmine is scum why try this hard to prove something that is verifiably false? Why she is doing doesn't make sense as any alignment.

On November 06 2014 02:17 batsnacks wrote:Why would I unvote lightning if not to save him?
By unvoting lightning, but placing your vote on me, you essentially guaranteed that the cop would die while also giving yourself an excuse. See, you may have switched your vote off lightning... but you placed it on me. So, we're left with nothing but your word that it was an honest mistake that you put your vote on me (which got our cop killed) instead of on Immaterial (which would have saved our cop).
If you truly intended to save our cop you would have put your vote on Immaterial. In essence, the way you voted ensured that you and your scum team could still kill the cop while also giving you a convenient way out by claiming you took your vote off, even though you knew doing so wouldn't change the outcome.
|
The entire basis of your argument is that I'm using switching my vote as an excuse for killing the cop.
But I didn't even vote the cop, and I was the only one who unvoted him when he claimed the first time (before KSC cced).
KSC gave us less than 3 minutes to switch, yet you think I am the one responsible because even though I actually switched my vote, it was to someone with not enough votes to make a difference. If 3 minutes was enough time, which you have argued that's plenty of time, why couldn't one more town switch? Why is it my fault when I am the one who actually switched?
I am not trying to say switching confirms me as town or anything like that. I am trying to say switching off of the uncced cop does not make me mafia.
|
I won't be on either, focus on immaterial/Kush when they post tomorrow. I was pressuring Elvis a lot yesterday but I don't think he's scum anymore. Superbia/sentinel are both possibilities Try to look at KSCs play as a whole rather than just the fake claim -I'm pretty sure town fake counter claims more often than scum. Batsnacks vote doesn't matter too much to me. It's not strange reasoning from Serajai but he could have easily not changed votes at all.

I think if I had switched my vote to grack, jasmine wouldn't have said a word. Her OMGUS complex is serious.
