So... are we doing the roleclaim thing? I'm still unconvinced, bum, sorry  The traditional mafia player in me feels really weird about mass claiming at night when mafia can use the information to influence their hits. Who knows - maybe mafia knows something we don't. | ||

Mafia kill by aiming at traits, right? In which case, they don't find out who they've targeted unless they know which trait belongs to who. Basically the person who dies in the morning (at least for the first few nights) is a mystery even to the mafia. Traits aren't revealed on death...so coroner is important, as mafia will know one? trait that belonged to the dead person. IF mafia were given house number and color like everyone else, they know which colors/houses NOT to pick, and basically that the rest of the pool belongs to the town. Here I can somewhat understand why it's initially "safe" to claim: if you claim, the mafia actually can't kill you unless they know one of your traits. Right? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I gleaned from it. So protect traits...but at the same time town will need to figure out a system to share traits to solve the puzzle right? | ||

I publically claimed a red house. ON claimed red house to bum, and bum forwarded that information to me, without telling ON he had. I then privately asked ON to claim to me, and he claimed red house to me. Which is just... derp, because my house is red. Then he went on to correct himself. He claims he made a mistake, claiming the wrong role. Twice. | ||
